The beds and pillows are hard. There is carpet on the floor in the bedroom which made us question the overall cleanliness of the room. There is poor ventilation in the rooms as well. Definitely not worth the prices they are charging. This felt more like a hostel than a bed and breakfast. It was so uncomfortable that we left earlier than planned and found a beautiful newer hotel in Dublin's shopping district with a king bed for less than what Egan's charged for their run down facility.
