A fabulous cosy retreat for two to relax and enjoy!. All on the Ground Floor:

Living room/kitchen: Freeview Smart TV, Breakfast Bar, Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Fridge, Washing Machine

Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Front garden with patio, garden furniture and barbecue. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Welcome to The Stables, a fabulous cottage newly renovated in 2022 to provide a wonderful relaxing retreat, perfect for your next holiday in Somerset. Inside you have a spacious open plan living space, with beamed ceilings and tasteful furnishings including a comfortable sofa to chill out on and a Smart TV so you can catch up on your favourite streaming shows. The kitchen area has a breakfast bar with stools and is the perfect spot for a meal at any time of day. Head through to the large bedroom where you will find a double bed, statement lighting and an en-suite shower room. Outside, the private courtyard has a charming seating area to enjoy after a busy day exploring the area and a great place for a chilled glass of your favourite tipple!

Set in the village of Brent Knoll, there is a local pub just a short walk away or jump in the car where you will find a lovely carvery pub, large garden centre with coffee shop and petrol station with a convenience store. Just under 3 miles away you have the seaside town of Burnham on Sea with its many shops and eateries as well as the beach to explore. For some culture, you have the city of Bath with its historic centre and Roman architecture. The famous Cheddar Gorge is within a short drive where you will see mountain goats in the gorge or enjoy some locally made cheddar cheese!

The Stable was a lovely place to stay for a couple of nights.

The Stable was a lovely place to stay for a couple of nights. Cosy, clean and modern and there was some sloe gin on arrival!One criticism would be the poor water pressure (I know there is not much that can be done unless a booster pump is fitted). This made the shower quite slow and also filling the kettle was slow.The Bluetooth speaker was a good addition and also Effy the very friendly cat!
