Top High Mountain Hotel Reviews
Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone, an Ascend Collection Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"It was great all around. The marshmallow roast and gas fireplace was a connector. A lot of people that didn't even know each other were sitting around the fire sharing experiences, laughing and telling stories."
Dreamcatcher Tipi Hotel

"Very helpful staff si easy to get set up"
Cabin By The River~ 10 minutes from the north entrance to Yellowstone Park
10/10 Excellent
"My husband and I stayed at the Cabin by the River for our honeymoon. It was an amazing stay. Chris and Warren are very kind and easy to get a hold of hosts. The second day we were there I dropped the coffee pot and broke it [I'm a bit of a klutz] and Chris was super sweet about it and got us a new coffee maker before we even got back home from hiking in the park. The view off the porch is to die for and we spent every morning and evening sitting on the porch swing looking out at the river and the mountains. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked with utensils that you would need to cook pretty much anything. They even have a crock pot, which we used to make a roast while out hiking. If you want to stay near Yellowstone, you should definitely be staying at the Cabin by the River!!!!!"

Beautiful Mountain Views with Trout Creek Frontage! Ten Miles from Yellowstone!
10/10 Excellent
"Wendy was a great host. Very helpful and kind. The house was great. Kitchen was well stocked; which made it easy to cook dinners. Plenty of room for a multigenerational vacation. The land was beautiful with a creek behind the house. I loved listening to it at night. Thanks again Wendy!"
Creekside Cabin near Yellowstone - horse rides, rafting, zip lining, hiking
10/10 Excellent
"The property host, Stacey, was fantastic at communicating. She was very responsive and willing/able to answer detailed questions. The cabin is quite remote, which was great for us. However, I didn't know the road to the cabin was a 4-mile dirt-and-gravel road. I rented a low-profile sedan with low-profile tires, great on gas, but not the best vehicle to drive in and out of the basin. Poor planning on my part, but something to consider: there is no cell coverage on that dirt road, and an incident with your vehicle that requires roadside assistance could eat up a big part of your day. The cabin is tight if more than two guests stay. Most of the bedroom drawers are full of blankets and bedding. So you will have to live out of your suitcase. The kitchen is also very small, especially the refrigerator. That can be limiting when preparing meals and when considering leftovers. We thought that those were minor inconveniences. My wife loved that the little kitchen was well stocked with spices and cookware. I loved the tranquility of being off the beaten path surrounded by nature. The drive to Gardiner is fairly quick, 25-30 mins. The town's one grocery store had everything we needed. I suggest you don't stock up too much on items that require refrigeration until you visit the cabin. We loved our stay; we'd stay again if we could. My observations aren't meant to nitpick, but to help others prepare for their stay at Creekside Cabin."
