"On the main drag, 1/2 mi from US221 S toward Asheville, about a mile from US441 east to the NC piedmont. I thought the Rhodes was great. Loved the way the room was trimmed out, suited me perfectly. You gotta want something a little different to enjoy the place; some will find the hiker chic a tad underwhelming. Thought the lobby was wonderful, the bar and restaurant look nice, didn't get a chance to eat there. Somebody took an old motor lodge from the postwar boom and updated it very well. "We had the most wonderful week staying in this beautiful home—it truly exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared. The home itself is even more stunning in person—spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and filled with natural light.Traveling with our adult family of 6, we had more than enough space to relax comfortably. The layout was perfect, with cozy gathering areas for time together and peaceful bedrooms when we needed to unwind. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, which made cooking meals together easy and fun!Some of our favorite parts were the outdoor spaces, where we could relax and enjoy the weather (we had snow and sunshine) and beautiful surroundings. Every detail of the home felt intentional, from the comfortable furnishings to the little touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. The only thing we would have changed would have been having a larger bed and a door for the upstairs loft.The location was also ideal—convenient to everything we wanted to do, yet quiet and restful at the end of the day. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, beautiful, and well-appointed getaway!"

"A beautiful cabin with everything you need to enjoy a stay in blowing rock. Quiet roads to walk in the morning with great relaxing views on the balconies. Kitchen had everything I needed and will definitely stay again."

"We really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our family of 4. Our kids loved the tree swings and ping pong table.It is a great location between Boone and Blowing Rock. You do need to drive to one of those towns for dinner if you’re planning to eat out.The host was very easy to communicate with."
