Repeat Stay
We love staying here. There are a couple of cosmetic issues--faucet that needs washer replaced, closet door-- but nothing that really detracted from our stay. It was warm, cozy, and a great fit for our family gathering.

Do book THE RED HOUSE!
This was a great place to stay with friends from Texas, Arkansas and Tennessee. Well stocked. Comfortable beds. 2 72" TVs and wifi were a plus. Host was very responsive. Absolutely no negatives. If you're looking for the perfect stay near Greer's Ferry, this is a bargain. Book it soon.

Relaxing Retreat at Thanksgiving
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Red House. Everything was as pictured. Beds very comfortable. Quiet and peaceful. The house had just about everything we needed for cooking. The ice maker was an added bonus. We will definitely stay there again.

Beds in secondary bedroom
It was a nice little place to stay and close to the event we were there for. However beds in second and third rooms were unsatisfactory second room bed was to big for frame and a person would fall out of bed on each side. Third bedroom bed frame was broken in middle and a person would roll to middle.

Glad you enjoyed your stay other than the bed issue. That's the first we have heard on any issues, most actually tell how comfy the beds are, which I would agree and feel they are all nice to sleep in. We will have a maintenance person take a look, apologize for any inconvenience! Update: The bed frame in the 3rd bedroom was not broken, we inspected it. The memory foam in the 2nd bedroom hangs over a couple inches. To say the beds were unsatisfactory seems unfair, and this is the only complaint we have had in 2 years.

Needs update
I rented the house for my children and grands for the weekend. It slept 7 comfortably, but the air fresheners were overwhelming and strong. I’d suggest a different scent, more a clean and fresh smell than the flowery scent. Definitely needs to be updated

The house was clean and all appliances worked fine. No problems with plumbing. The ice machine was a big plus. We enjoyed our stay even though the lake was very low and fishing was not as good as expected.

Great Girls weekend
We had our annual girls weekend trip and the location was perfect. Close to the marina where our boat is kept. Had adults and preteen girls with us. There was a separate room with beds for the girls, tv and games. It was perfect for them to have their space and the adults had the living room to hang out in. Kitchen had all the essentials, with a good ice machine. Beds were good which is always important to me. There is a great firepit area, but we did not use it this trip. Nice front porch and another covered sitting area. It was everything we needed. The only advice I would give is that the outside porch areas could use a good cleaning and power washing. Would this keep us from coming and staying again absolutely note. Owner was very responsive.

This was a nice property and the layout of the house was great. Very spacious and the house was basically soundproof. Lost of space. Everything was provided we just needed our clothes, k-cups and groceries.

The place was not the cleanest. One of the king beds was actually on a queen frame. That does not work very well & was a bit deceiving from what was advertised. That’s not good especially with someone that has a back issue.

Perfect place for your couple's getaway or big family
This place is awesome! The location of the property, access to so many things to do (disc golf course right down the road), full kitchen, fire pit area, carport, wifi, and very responsive hosts make this place what it is. Will be back for sure!

Was not cra.y about being on camera while outside but did like tge well stocked kitchen

The one camera on the property is used to monitor the house while unattended, it is turned off during every booking. Glad you enjoyed your stay!

Great place to recharge
My kids (AGES 14 AND 9) and I were looking for a place to stay to recharge. This place is the absolute best VRBO EVER!!! It is about 1 mile from the lake. It has so many beautiful touches that just make it so special: the small creek in the backyard, a fire pit with tikki torches around the sitting area, 3 outdoor areas for sitting and relaxing. The furnishings in the house are cozy, comfortable and adorable farmhouse themed. There are 2.5 baths and 5 beds. The owners left us a sweet note and a surprise when we arrived. The kitchen was stocked with coffee, ingredients for smores, and many food items that were handy and easy to fix. Definitely a place you MUST visit!!!!

What a great house!
We stayed with our three kids and this place was perfect. The kids loved the back room with the toys, the huge TV and bunk beds. This place was very clean and had everything we needed! The beds were nice, big and very comfortable. This place is very cute and spacious. The outside set up was so peaceful with the lights, seating and fan! I want to go back in the Fall. The owners were very easy to work with and super accommodating. We will definitely book here again.

Wonderful cabin by the lake.
We stayed for a long weekend , and this place was amazing. It was very spacious and clean. Very accessible to the lake, and have a wonderful covered parking area for our boat. The owners stock it with everything you will need for the weekend. Check-in process was easy! We will definitely be back!!

We had so much fun at the little red house! The outdoor sitting area is perfect for family night! The house was very roomy and clean. It’s just minutes away from the lake, with a convenient store just down the road! Absolutely perfect for a family getaway!
