"This property is a VERY nice small beach cottage, nicely decorated and furnished, and well maintained. And the host provides everything a guest could want. There was no running out to the store for paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, etc. It was all there, including an abundance of glassware, plates, bowls, etc. And the host responded very quickly to a couple of questions we sent her. You can walk into town from the cottage, but the distance is about one mile, so we used our car. The fire pit and hot tub are nice touches, but the cushions on the sofa next to the fire pit could use some cleaning, as could the outside chairs and the surface of the wooden deck. The host does provide a list of tasks for quests to complete certain tasks when leaving, something that is common with rentals such as this. We complied, but in our opinion, tasks such as taking out the trash and laundering the towels should be left to the cleaning staff rather than required of the paying guests. Overall, though, we would definitely recommend this property."

"The Deer Haus was beautiful and had everything we needed for a fun weekend in New Buffalo. It is close to the downtown and beach but tucked away in a quiet little neighborhood which was perfect for our family! The second floor loft and bedroom with half bath was a great space for our son, daughter in law, and granddaughter to have their own space. The fire pit was perfect for roasting smores after a day at the beach! Easy check in and out! Thanks so much for a wonderful weekend!"

"Property was definitely run down a little for the price I paid for the room. We arrived at 5 and our room wasnt ready yet, we were asked to wait 15 mins until we went up. 2 Vending machines were not working and one soda machine was empty except for 2 kinds of soda. Pool area was good and room was good. Would I stay again? Yes, I would."

"Besides food and water everything needed was here! Items in picture that made us pick this one were not there avaliable due to construction to make the place better but the host were very helpful and accommodating to the issue. The house is located outside the city but very close! Casino goers best place to stay. This place you feel your in the country but only 3 miles from beach and town. Plenty of games outside and two different fire options gas or real wood fire! They had a s’mores kit for fire. X box for kids. We loved each room had its own air control since one kid liked 70 and other liked 60. Two different rooms with tv to watch different things plus when boy wanted matrix/terminator movie. The one tv room was used as a bedroom by one son. He said it was cozy and secluded. A bathroom was right beside it all too. I feel sharing bedrooms 10 people could fit using the couch in the skylight tv room. Front porch room was nice to sit. Very easy entry and easy number for all to remember. Animals are allowed so if you have allergies bring meds or bring air purifier for bedroom. They have one in the living room."

"This was an absolutely fantastic property. We had a group of 36 people, and there was plenty of room for everybody to spread out. We particularly loved the basketball/tennis court as well as the pool and hot tubs. The property was so spacious, and we felt that our group was able to relax and unwind and make use of all the amenities on the property. We will definitely hope to return in the future. Thank you so much to the host, communication was fantastic. 10/10, highly recommend!!"
