"We arrived in Southampton - contacted Pass the Keys to find out about codes to get into house and was told “sorry for the inconvenience, BUT your reservation has been CANCELLED”. No assistance to find another place! We had just arrived in the U.K. from Canada for a 10 day visit and at 8:00 am find out we have no place to go! There had been NO COMMUNICATION with me on this reservation after I paid the rental fees. So, imagine my SURPRISE when arriving I find out they CANCELLED our reservation...

Although I did not receive any check in information prior to my arrival, I had to wait in the rain at 10pm at night for around 15 mins waiting for somebody to answer the phone to give me the lockbox combination. Once I gained access to the property, there was no actual key that is given, all you get is a combination lock that is shared with another flat. "Overall very good place to stay with family/friends either for a week or a weekend away. The property manager was very polite and sorted any issue I had very quickly and efficiently and even allowed us an extra 30 minutes to check out which my family are very grateful for. "We stayed in the Botham room which was setup for a family of 4. Large king bed and sofa bed. The room was HUGE and bigger than we expected. Lovely spacious bathroom with tub and powerful rainfall shower. Everything was delightful about the room. Breakfast was a really fab full English breakfast, good coffee options and fruits/yogurts/ continental bakery pieces too. No complaints. We also ate in the bar restaurant on our arrival night and they had good options for both kids and adults. Beautiful grounds but looks a bit tired in places. As we were just staying one night it wasn’t a big deal, as it was a very quick stay. The only bummer was there was a wedding happening right outside our window. To be fair, it didn’t run super late, but as we were traveling with younger children who go to bed early, it was VERY loud both inside the entryway (our room was directly at the top of the stairs to entry way) and outside the tent played very loud music til around 9.30p maybe. Like I said, not super late for adults but worth keeping in mind for young kids. I would have appreciated a heads up that a wedding was happening, or perhaps the chance to move to a room further away. Overall, a great stay for reasonable price for a family of 4 - i would recommend and stay again "
