We had a wonderful relaxing stay here. The apartment was basic but functional inside but had a good balcony overlooking the pool area. Dave who runs the bar and sorts everything else too is a lovely friendly chap and also makes decent cocktails (this is important!). The pool area itself was exceptionally clean and it's just a nice friendly and quiet place to stay. A short walk from the Stalis beach road in the evening. We aim to return when we can.

This was our 2nd stay at this property and we are going back later in the year. The apartments are located near all the bars, restaurants and shops we love in Stalis and near to the beach. The apartment is a good size and kept clean, along with the lovely pool and sunbathing area. Quiet location. The manager Dave is wonderful, really helpful and friendly. Can't wait to go back.

Everything you need for a good holiday! Close to the main strip, a clean room, lovely little pool and sunbathing area. Staff are friendly and the room has all the essentials!

It was in fair condition, beds very uncomfortable, unable to sleep, combination of uncomfortable beds and dogs barking all night Person in charge totally useless, had to find somewhere else for last night’s of our stay Paid taxes and fees when booking room and notified we had to pay €16.50 when arriving to apartment. The only time the person in charge was interested in speaking to us was was to inform us that we had to pay €5 per night room tax on top of the €75 tax already paid , got onto hotels.com who asked us to provide receipts from Villa Aphrodite, we were unable to furnish them with receipts because the staff member told us “ we can only accept cash payments for room tax because the Greek government hasn’t updated the room tax system to accept card payments!!!!!! I proceeded to tell him it is illegal to refuse card payment, he just put on a silly grin seemingly finding this very amusing I’ve been coming to Stallis 20 years and can safely say the worst place to stay by a long way . There is a swimming pool there but definitely not safe to use as it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks , on arrival I noticed a piece of blue plastic in the pool and upon returning key to this 10 days later the piece of blue plastic was still the Trying to complain to Hotels .com was a waste of time Suffice to describe this place in simple language as a “KIP”

Crete has much better places to stay in

Overall, not so good. The main issue was that they charge extra 10 Euros for AC for a night. Even though in the Hotels.com they mentioned that AC is included. When I showed their page in Hotels.com website with the AC included they didn't take any responsibility and insisted on the extra fee, at the end they left us in the middle of August without AC. If I knew about the extra charge, beforehand, I would not book a room in this place. I think Hotels.com should be more involved in what the hotels writing on their page. The workers who run the place are very nice, but not very helpful, they could not help us with ordering a taxi which is pretty basic service for a hotel. Showers also had bad water pressure.

This is a great place to stay in stalis less the a min walk from EVERYTHING. The rooms are cleaned everyday. The pool area is so chilled and Dave runs a great poolside bar. Will differentially be returning
