Wonderful stay at this property. I arrived after this property had only been open 3 days and they were indeed ready! My room was top notch and bed was comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was a plus and delicious. Alex made our stay even BETTER! lunch and dinner was great (thanks chef). overall great place to stay.

This property wasss sooo beauty, my family and I really enjoyed it. The dinner food was soo good the breakfast food wasn't the best. The room was everything we need it with an amazing view from our balcony. The staff was sooo nice and friendly. The worst thing about this hotel was the shower. It was really small but we made a way lol.

A Great Place to Chill

The hotel is located between a little fishing port and couple small rocky beaches. But entering the Hotel and the Pool & seaview wake up definitely gives you a feeling of relaxation. Alex and Max and their team have all been lovely and very friendly giving us plenty of local tips and support !! No rush on sunbeds, plenty of availabilities and the pool is great. The restaurant/ Bar inside managed by Max is a very convenient to continue your chilling vacation and order food and drinks by the pool ! ( Thanks for the Fredo coffee! ) Small beaches to enjoy snorkeling and a Sandy beach 2 mins walking distance from the hotel. Groceries and restaurant are available at a 5 min drive from the hotel and remain open quite late. Well positioned between Iraklio and Malia definitely a Great hotel to chill and explore various cities nearby.

Factual review. We stayed for 6 nights/ 7 days. What works well. New hotel therefore looks nice. Swimming pool is lovely. Very comfortable sun loungers. Bar staff and waiter/ waitresses work hard and are friendly and welcoming. Downside: Housekeeping is dreadful. When we enquired as to why our room was still not attended to by 5.30pm, we were told to just relax and enjoy our holiday. When we enquired again on another day, the manager suggested he refund our money and we find another hotel. In my opinion, this is not good practise. Our room was only attended to once by 3.30pm, it was between 5 and 6.30pm on all the other days. Bed sheets were not changed throughout stay. Shower glass was never cleaned. Shelf/ sink never cleaned. Floors only mopped on 2/3 occasions. Breakfast. The set up causes a lot of chaos as there is only one small toaster for all guests. It is situated beside the teas/ coffees/ drinks. This causes queues and also by the time you get your toast/ drink, your food is cold. Most guests seem to sit outside for breakfast however it's only the inside tables that are set up with cutlery therefore guests have to find/ fetch their own cutlery. We had hard boiled eggs 4 days out of six. There was never a selection of locally produced cheeses as stated on website. It was the same cheese slices and ham slices throughout the stay. Gluten free bread requested on day 1, it arrived in time for breakfast on day 4. Definitely need more staff.
This was our bed 'made up' by housekeeping on the 2nd day...... I could have done that myself. Remember, this is a 4 star hotel.

Lacking the small details that make a difference

This is a relatively new hotel with a few things lacking and a couple of annoyances that made a very nice hotel seem average. We travelled with a baby, and asked for a cot in the room on booking, which they supplied perfectly, but when we arrived they had put us on the second floor, with no lift and small uneven stairs to climb. So we had to carry the baby and pram up and down stairs everyday, which was quite an inconvenience. We went to the restaurant for Breakfast, to be told they don't have a highchair, so feeding our baby on our laps everyday was another inconvenience. When we went to the pool, the sunbeds were black material (really stupid choice) so were burning hot, really annoying keep burning yourself when trying to relax! and trying to keep the baby from touching when she wanted to move around. We hired some towels for the pool, 10 euros deposit. Came with a 50, they said he didn't have change. I said id buy something from the bar, which he said they wont either, which they didn't. A reception and the bar/restaurant doesn't hold change for 30 euros, I found strange and annoying, so I had to give the whole 50 euros for two towels. On departure, a man from the hotel followed us out, and was taking pictures of my clients car, who was kindly taking us to the airport, Very strange and suspicious. He was very obvious about it, and no explanation. If these things would not bother you, then I would recommend this hotel, as it is very very nice and a great location!

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen und in einer ruhigen Gegend. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend, sehr engagiert und freundlich. Auch das Essen dort im Restaurant und die Cocktails schmecken sehr lecker. Einzig und allein die Sauberkeit der Zimmer und die Ausstattung im Badezimmer lässt zu wünschen übrig. Ansonsten hat uns der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen, gerne wieder!

Hôtel rénové, très propre, chambre spacieuse bien équipée. Idem salle de bain. Piscine très agréable, beaucoup de transats. Rien à redire sur le petit déjeuner et petit resto. Seul point négatif : hôtel isolé, pas de commerce ni restaurant, voiture indispensable pour aller jusqu'à Gouves à 4 km.

Hôtel tout neuf, très propre. Petit-déjeuner buffet très varié, salé/sucré. Chambre moderne avec balcon, vue mer magnifique. Coin piscine avec transats vaste et très agréable. Présence d'un super bar avec possibilité de restauration aussi, ouvert tard le soir; ce qui est bien pratique pour un dernier cocktail ou une boisson rafraichissante. Personnel très aimable. Seul bémol: pour atteindre l'hôtel, il faut passer dans une zone en cours d'aménagement (ancienne base militaire) et pas de plage privée mais il y en a une à seulement 200m. Avec une voiture, ce petit désagrément est vite oublié car l'hôtel est vraiment top.
