"This is my second time here. Back to back weekends. Y'all, if you want to go to a place that feels more like going home where everyone at the end of your stay is like family to you, come here! Very safe and quiet. Great area. Lots of places to eat, although the food in the dining room is great, and the bar is great, too. Plenty of coffee and juice and a great hot breakfast. Lots of cereals and yogurts. By the end of this second stay, I knew almost all of the guests, their kids were calling me "Miss Leigh," and giving me hugs, and the adults, esp. the fellow females, were like sisters. If you want to be by yourself, you can do that, too. I am an extrovert, and I like meeting people, swapping stories, and the like. This is a gem in south Texas, for sure!"

"Great staff in recovering from a fractured knee and I called ahead to see if they had extra pillows to elevate my knee after our 7 hour drive I walked into the hotel room and they had already put them in ahead of time. Also we asked for a view of the harbor and pool and got the perfect view"
