"I love these hotels with the Holly dome style swimming pool area! It’s so nice to find a hotel with a restaurant and a bar! They are updating the rooms right now, the one I stayed in was already renovated, they did a nice job."

"This hotel is very clean. The staff were friendly. They have lots of items for breakfast. Our family enjoyed going in the pool and hot tub. It’s in a nice location. I would definitely stay there again."

"John was very communicative and friendly. The cabin was just as I envisioned and so peaceful and quiet. I absolutely loved being able to sit in the cabin or on the deck and look out over the waters.Everything I needed and then some was there. There was a copy of the book John’s father wrote in the cabin, which was fun to read and learn more about the history of the family. Hopefully I can get back there again someday."

"Wonderful place to stay. Quiet and beautiful and right up a hill from the lake. We loved going out on the kayaks and spending the evening in the hot tub. Just a short drive to Alexandria, where we visited their farmers market and took a tour of a winery. And just a short walk to Holmes city, with a general store and their own weekend farmers market. The communication with Glen and Barry was outstanding. The property was just as listed and check-in was easy. Was an absolutely wonderful stay over Labor Day weekend."

"Very nice and clean place and with spacious bedrooms! The patio was nice and we really enjoyed the bonfire. The dock had a great view to the lake. It was a great getaway for the family!"
