"We really enjoyed our night at Somerville House. We were welcomed by a lovely lady who gave us some fresh milk to take up to our room. The room was beautiful with a large bathroom with an amazing shower. Everything was imaculately clean, bed was comfortable even for me with a dodgy back. There was a fan provided which we needed in the night as it was warm. Only negative I could say was the bathroom got quite steamy. Only a short walk into the city centre."

"It is a lovely little hotel. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location is excellent for Hereford just 7 minutes away. We used it as a base and visited Hereford Cathedral and the Old House Museum in Hereford, Croft Castle, Leominster, Ledbury (not to be missed) Ross on Wye and Goodrich Castle. All less than 45 mins. away. Also some of the Black and White villages north of the City. Would definitely recommend this hotel and also a trip to Herefordshire."

"Great location, parking was great addition. I think that the house is a work in progress- upstairs and front rooms appeared to have been renovated ( although couldn’t turn on hot tap on bathroom sink and main lights in bedroom didn’t light - we were ok using the side lights)Kitchen and lean to in need of updating, and garden needs attention. However I would return as it was clean, comfortable and in great location"
