"Upon arrival, I was promptly checked into my room. However, I immediately noticed several cleanliness concerns, including visible stains on the carpet, multiple strands of hair in both the bathroom and on the couch, and the absence of body soap in the shower. Aside from these issues, the room matched the photos provided and featured a layout that I found comfortable and enjoyable. On my second day, there was a concerning incident in which staff attempted to enter my room without prior notice while I was still inside. Fortunately, I had engaged the secondary lock. It appeared that housekeeping did not verify occupancy before attempting entry, which raised concerns regarding guest privacy and safety. On a positive note, the breakfast service was excellent. The staff preparing the meal were welcoming and personable, and I truly enjoyed my interactions with them."

"The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. There is a restaurant attached and the food was good. There was an unusual kitchen surcharge that I didn’t quite understand until layer. And unfortunately the room did not have any regular coffee stocked and I didn’t realize it was only decaf until the next morning. I also didn’t quite figure out how to regulate the temperature in the despite some instructions on the thermostat. It was fine for an overnight stay. "

"Disappointing stay cleanliness issues We booked this place for a short stay in Baltimore and were very disappointed. The room was not clean the floor had dirt/sand, the bed had burn marks and was uncomfortable, and the bathroom was in poor, unsanitary condition. There was also a strong, unpleasant odor coming from another room like urine which made the stay even more uncomfortable. On top of that, we were switched to a different property than the one we originally booked, which felt misleading despite being called an “upgrade.” The host was friendly, but overall I would not recommend staying here."

"Before we had gotten there I had thought I paid the full amount including accidental fees. When I arrived there I had to pay an additional 200+ dollars for any damage done in the room and accidental fees. To then find out that valet parking is taking out of that charge. It was not enough communication. Room service came on our last day, sheets were not changed. I received wash clothes that had black spots on them. In order to go to the pool you have to reserve a spot. I was really shocked for this to be Hyatt Place, this is normally a 4.5 star hotel. I wasn’t able to get the original room I paid for , but the staff was nice about that. "

"Fairly smooth registration. Hotel is large but is very dated. The phone in my room did not work. I informed staff and they told me it would be fixed. That never happened. I also mentioned the bathroom door was broken and would not lock. I was told maintenance would repair. Again, no results. The following morning, hotel lost hot water due to issues with their hot water heater. I couldn't call them to ask of the issue, as my phone was broken therefore, had to physically travel down to the lobby to inquire of the issue. Several other patrons complained however, staff could not provide a timetable for when repairs would be made. Several staff members tried to empathize however, others could not be bothered. Instead of reimbursement, I was offered "quick bucks" for a future stay, but I do not plan to stay there ever again. I am disappointed with Expedia and plan to broadcast this further. "
