Beautiful cabin-It was comfortable,peaceful, cozy.
Easy drive to stores, local restaurants, apple orchards, hiking trails and waterfalls that the owner suggested which was very helpful. We enjoyed it all.
Just finished our second stay and planning to stay again next year. Location is perfect, so much to do within an hours drive. Hiking trails, breweries, great restaurants etc. would defiantly recommend.
The house was very clean and in a quiet location. It was convenient to many different parks and an easy drive for supplies, entertainment, and dining. A wonderful place to stay!
This rustic cabin is conveniently located between Hendersonville and Chimney Rock. All the amenities you need for a 3 night stay. Other than problems with the internet we enjoyed it very much.
A great cabin that is secluded enough for privacy but short drives to anywhere of interest. Exterior lighting leaves a little too be desired for navigating stairs.
Richard always responded in a timely manner to any questions, including extending our stay last minute.

No yard
There wasn’t any yard to speak of and there wasn’t any views at all. Location to places to go to was convenient.
The property was nice for the cost. The beds were way to firm for my liking (I need soft). Property could have been a little cleaner. Master shower didnt drain well. Water pressure was good and hot! Hot tub was a huge plus!! Overall our stay was very nice. We enjoyed several spots close to the property.
Nestled in the woods of a quiet street, we enjoyed the sounds of the woods. We saw 2 black bears and a bob cat too! We spent much of our time in Chimney Rock Village where we played mini golf, had a beer and sat on the boulders in the creek behind the bar and hiked to the falls at Chimney Rock. Hendersonville, WNC Farm Market, Asheville and The Arboretum are all within easy driving distance. My daughter and I each had our own room and bathroom, which was great. Enjoyed the hot tub early one morning. It was a wonderful place and great week!
Unfortunately, the couch is very uncomfortable, I suppose because there in no hide-a-bed mattress in it. The tv is up too high since the couch doesn’t recline. The queen size bed was very comfortable. A spare blanket or two would’ve been nice.

Nice stay had some miscommunication of the lock box, that finally got resolved after a call to Richard set us back a little bit , the spa tub was nice but had a little bit of a mildew smell , the driveway was a little bet of a challenge trying not to drop off it and cause vehicle damage
We stayed from Christmas Eve thru the 29th. We had a very relaxing time. I will say if it snows, the road the cabin is on is steep. When the host says get travelers insurance, if it’s going to snow do that!! Also because there is some roads still closed due to Helene, gps wants to take you down some dead end roads, especially if your trying to get to chimney rock. We weren’t fans of the beds but that is just because we love our bed at home. The couch is super comfy. The host answered any questions and concerns we had immediately. We would definitely stay again. It’s pretty close to just about everything while still being out in the countryside.
