Perfect location, and nicely renovated and clean place to stay for an event at nearby Camp Pinnacle--literally a 5 minute drive. We e-mailed in advance about things to do in the area and got an immediate response with a pdf full of local attractions and restaurants recommended by the host.
While our stay was short we really enjoyed the house set up. It was easy access with a programable code lock and enough space for 2 couples and extra kids. All the instructions for the house were clear and easy to follow! Definitely on our list for return trips to Hendersonville!
The house itself is gorgeously and thoughtfully decorated. Host anticipated so many of our needs, such as providing local information and appliance/hot tub instructions. Location is superb—lake is beautiful and peaceful yet so convenient to downtown. Totally recommend!!
We really enjoyed our recent trip to explore Hendersonville for the first time. Lake Escape is a bright, spotlessly clean home with very comfortable furnishings ( the master bed is heavenly!) It’s very well equipped and we will certainly come back. Easy drive to downtown too!
We needed a quiet place to work from while our kids attended local summer camps. This for the bill! The walk around the lake was perfect for our dog and we enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. Close to Kanuga camp and downtown Hendo, I recommend this rental.
The place was very clean (which is extremely important to me), well-designed, and functional for our group. The hot tub was also very clean and a nice bonus. Very little privacy though, as there are many houses close by. The host was accessible and answered any questions that we had. We also liked the location in the sense that we were close to wineries/breweries and also close enough to Asheville to spend a day in town. We would absolutely stay here again on another visit to the area.
Everything was clean. Kitchen well stocked. Nice comfortable furniture. Very peaceful, even with other houses nearby. Check in and out simple as could be. Would definitely come back!
My husband and i met up with friends and stayed in this cabin. We unfortunately had major car problems. We are not from this area so had no idea who to contact for a tow. I reached out to the host and he provided the name of the company. The cabin itself was great. The kitchen had everything you would need and the beds were comfy! The

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Very convenient to downtown and several restaurants.
The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Very close and convenient to downtown and several restaurants. Beds were really comfortable. When we checked in the temp on the hot tub was in the 80’s and we figured it was because the water may have been changed out. I messaged the property manager to ask but did not get a response until the next day so we were unable to use the hot tub on our first night. Turned out the water was too low so we added water and it heated up just fine. The house is surrounded by other homes so if you want seclusion, this would probably not work out. All in all, it was a nice stay and even with other homes all around, we were not bothered at all.
Everything was clean, organized, and easy to understand. Kirk was extremely communicative when any issues came up and took actions to make everything right. The hot tub was lovely. This is a great place to stay for relaxation and party!
We were there to celebrate our great granddaughters' graduation with honors from Innovative Blue Ridge High School. The property was perfect for our needs.
Very well-kept home...and extremely clean. Owner was great with communication! Loved the layout of the home and the location was also very close to downtown Hendersonville and all the activities we wanted to do.
The house was incredibly clean and very well decorated. It was spacious and well laid out. The beds were comfortable and my boys loved the bunk beds. It was great communication with Kirk and a very short walk to the lake. Wonderful place for a long relaxing weekend with family!
We really enjoyed our stay here at this Osceola Lake refuge while vacationing in Hendersonville, NC. The house was clean, comfortable, and as described in the listing. Owner was responsive to any communication or questions I had and check-in /out was very easy and straightforward, no lengthly surprise list of instructions to worry about.
My family has been coming to Hendersonville for camps or vacations for years now, and I never even knew about the existence of this lake until staying here. We enjoyed taking our dog for walks around the lake and seeing the ecletic mix of houses dotted all long the shore on this trip. Osceola Lake also has an interesting history that goes back over a hundred years, being the location of a few boys' summer camps and Inns. You can still walk and go fishing over by the dam that was built after a major flood in 1916. One of the lakeside inns still appears to be in business. Wish I could have had a couple more days to explore this quiet, charming corner of Hendersonville!
