"The house is country the owner will help with anything you need its so close to skin creek boat launch which connects to stonewall caught alot of perch an large mouth 1 was over 5lbs also 5mins away from stone coal boat launch this property is awsome for the price its un beatable ill be back for sure"

"As we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary we fell in love with this place! So quiet and peaceful! Beautiful cabin and they couldn’t have picked a better spot for it! Open meadows in the front view and wooded area off the back porch, just sooo peaceful! (The best of both worlds :). ) If you want to unwind and getaway from everything, this is the place to go, we would recommend to everyone and Great communication with owners!"

The home offers everything one ever really needs and Charissa, the Property manager, was very easy to work with and reachable at anytime. "We had a great stay here at the Muskie-Lounge River Retreat!! We were here for my son’s wedding. The cabin was clean and ready when we arrived. The Tenney’s were flexible on check-in times and allowed us to get in a bit early to be able to shower/change from traveling before our rehearsal dinner. Evenings spent on the deck around the fire was very relaxing!! Would for sure bring the family back again!"

"This was our second time staying at this property, plenty of sleeping arrangements for our group, we love this place it’s by the river we did a little fishing while we was there , the place is always clean when we arrive and the host is wonderful to work with, the only thing that I would say needs maybe looked into is the water pressure but nothing we couldn’t deal with!! Wonderful place we will be back!!"

"Really nice property and cabin; however, we were only there an hour and a half before a transformer blew and the power was cut off due to a windstorm. So we were unable to spend the night. The owner was amazing and understanding and submitted a full refund. I would love to book again another time and have the opportunity to enjoy it."

"Owner and family was super nice and friendly. Cabin backed up to a stream. So even though it rained off and on during my stay, I could open the back door and enjoy the serenity of the stream. The stream also was nice to listen to as I fell asleep each night! The price was super reasonable as well."

Great room but hotel being worked on
"The room itself was clean & comfortable with lots of space. Mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in room. Bathroom was a shower tub combination with body wash, shampoo & conditioner included. Blow dryer and body lotion included by sink with good lighting around mirror. Very good continental breakfast with hot and cold items available. Coffee available 24/7. Overall the hotel was being worked on so there was no carpet in half the hallway on the second floor and one elevator was out of order. The indoor pool was clean and set at a comfortable temperature. There was one diner within walking distance but not many other places to eat nearby other than fast food. Altogether it met our needs very and when the work is completed it will be even better."
