Cabin was great and Catherine had excellent communication prior to the trip. We had other family members atRavelle’s so the location was great. Nice cabin and we loved our stay!
Very lovely and clean, cozy little cabin within close proximity to town ( Elkins )…and also close to state parks, trout stream, and lots of other various places that have scenic views.
Cabin on the inside is quite lovely and very clean. Plenty of dishes. Did expect a bit more of the basics like salt and pepper and shampoo for the price but overall a very nice place.
We had a wonderful stay at our cabin even though the weather was less than desirable. The campground was very nice and the store there had great hours with lots of items like milk, eggs, and other goods if we needed anything. It was close to many things in the area to do. We definitely want to book another trip in the future hopefully with a cabin with a hot tub. Even though the cabin was smaller there was plenty of room for all of us.
Found this last second and it happened to be about 100ft from ny reunion. It was very clean and one of the nicer ones Ive stayed in at Revelles. Outside was clean and has friendly neighbors, checking in/out was extremely easy.
This cabin exceeded expectations-- we absolutely loved it! Perfect space for a couple and our dogs, though it would have easily housed a few more guests. I liked the peacefulness of the grounds and I felt like we had enough privacy. We didn't really have a plan for sight-seeing but we found lots of great hiking and scenic spots around. Would definitely come stay again in the future!
Overall great trip, cabin hosted 6 of us comfortably. The pictures of the cabin are a little misleading, it shows 2-3 sets of bunk beds when there is only one. There was a pullout bed under the bunk beds and 2 queens plus the couch so all 6 of us had our own place to sleep. Would definitely stay there again!!
Thank you to Catherine and her staff. The cabin is so cute and we loved the location. Thank you Catherine for the Happy Birthday glass and candy for our grandson. He said thank you! Both our grandsons loved the black bear. We will definitely return and recommend this cabin to our friends.
The house itself wound up being more than we were thinking it would be, which was a nice surprise. In my head I was expecting a cabin, but I'd really call it more of a cabin themed house. The only thing I wished was that it was a bit more private then it was, but in terms of its location in the campsite, it's sort of off to the side, which I was really happy about. We were able to enjoy the river, and the charcoal grill next to the house was great for our purposes. Overall I was very pleased with the stay, our group had a great time in the area hiking, and the check in process was easy. Thanks again!
The cabin is always clean and well equipped, everything you need to enjoy your stay. The outside area as well -picnic table and chairs to sit around the fire. Owner even offered to set us up with fire wood. The campground is alway kept up and the staff are alway around if you need help. I have stayed in this cabin twice and have camp at other sites around the campground. I would recommend this campground to anyone. It’s a great place to stay to enjoy the river ( trout fishing in the spring and Kayaking in the summer, along with many attractions.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Wasn’t worth it for us.
Loft not usable because ladder is dangerous. Description was deceiving as it was smaller than we thought and definitely a stretch to sleep 9. Outside area needs attention, rather depressing. River was so low so there was nothing else to do.
The check in was easy. The cabin was very comfortable with air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen and cable plus streaming services. And the river was still full of fish!
Fabulous stay. Cabin was clean, well stocked with linens and basic necessities. Easy access to hiking and skiing. Host was pleasant and prompt with all communication. 5 star rating.
Perfect location for a ski trip at Canaan Valley and some hiking. Town of Elkins is close for groceries and great take out restaurants. Cabin was perfect in a cool setting next to the river.
We really enjoyed our trip. It was my husband's birthday. So the nice gesture they left him on the kitchen table was very thoughtful. The place was very clean! We book there again in the future.
The cabin is clean and well-furnished. There is an apple tree outside and across the road, access to a shallow part of the river with a wide bank for skipping rocks, and even taking a dip. The campground is quiet.
Love staying in the mountains of WV. So beautiful. We enjoyed and relaxed in the water just a few steps from our cabin. S’mores every night in our own fire pit. Best part, we were able to take our pups. My family had a wonderful time. Thank you!!
Had a great 5 days at revelles river resort. Cabin was clean and spacious and well positioned near the river. Will definitely come back for more vacations.
Site was very family friendly. Staff was very pleasant as well. The location has a great spot for fishing on site, and is very centralized to many scenic areas in WV. Look forward to a return visit in the future.
