Porthleven is a beautiful village which has managed to retain its wonderful Cornish charm. Here you can spend many an hour strolling around the harbour and watching the boats bobbing up and down on the water, or the fishermen returning home to unload their daily catch. Alternatively, just sit back and take in the breathtaking views out to sea and across Mounts Bay. It is no surprise that Porthleven is popular with visitors all year around. During the summer months, the cliff tops are dotted with an abundance of wild flowers and in the winter, the dramatic sea makes a fantastic back drop for walkers enjoying the coastal path that stretches from Lands End to The Lizard.
