"This place is in the perfect location and it’s such a beautiful property. The pool is absolutely beautiful, but the downfall is that it is known as a cool pool, which means they won’t heat it. It is absolutely freezing. We went in September and it was so cold I didn’t even want to put my feet in. I can only imagine in a couple weeks how cold it will be. We seen multiple people while my six-year-old was swimming, chattering going into the pool feeling how cold it is and then leaving. I love this property, but I don’t think we will come back based on the fact that I won’t even go in the pool because it’s too cold with my kids. I don’t know if this is a cost savings thing in their advertising as a cool pool to excuse the fact that it’s not heated but if they want families to go swimming there, especially when summer is done they need to upgrade their systems so that the pool is actually warm enough to swim in and actually enjoy with the family."

"The front desk staff who checked us in were lovely and made our stay great from the start by accommodating an early check-in. I really enjoyed the restaurant's rich history, excellent food, and attentive service, and the bar was cozy and inviting. The aromatherapy in the hallways was a fantastic touch as well. The room exceeded expectations—the bathroom's Bluetooth mirror made listening to music in the rain shower so much fun, and the heated seat bidet was a wonderful luxury. Also, taking the $3.00 round-trip shuttle bus to the University of Michigan game was incredibly convenient. We will definitely be staying here again! Best, Shawn Dee Hartless"
