While we strive for all of our guests to have an enjoyable experience- with customer service being our top priority- we understand that we cannot control the behavior and actions of others so that may not always be possible as is the case here. At no point was any staff rude or unprofessional. It was explained to you numerous times that your reservation was not yet paid for-despite your insistence it was. You provided "proof" by showing your reservation confirmation which clearly stated that it was a "pay at the property" reservation and not prepaid. I personally tried to show you this, but you kept cutting me off and were unwilling to listen or look at the screen that you yourself were showing me. We tried to suggest calling your bank or your third party to verify that you had not already been charged, but you dismissed this suggestion and began to rant about how you were being "screwed over". The initial card was declined, which we had no choice but to inform you of so that you could provide another. While I understand that this may have caused you embarrassment it was not the fault of the property, nor was it "bellowed" for all to hear. That is simply not something we would ever do. Through the entire process Laurie was professional and tried to provide service with a smile- which you actually chastised her for. Despite your obvious confusion and poor behavior everyone did their best to meet your needs and be as accommodating as possible. Our beds are Tempurpedic memory foam, and all under 5 years old. Every single bed has a blanket- tan in King rooms or grey in Queen rooms. Additional blankets are available on request. I am unsure why you would claim otherwise as this is simply untrue.
