"We hired 2 chalets' no's 528 & 529. 528 was in good shape but 589 was not. The master bedroom carpets were dirty and the chalet needed painting. We paid for half board but found the food generally very poor. Breakfast was OK with eggs cooked while you waited, the sausages and bacon were good but there was little fresh fruit. The evening meal starters were poor, those which should have been hot were cold and the roast was generally overcooked. The facilities this resort offers are...

"Casa do Sol was quiet compared to our previous stays here but this didn't stop the staff doing everything they could to make our stay agreeable. Of particular note was the high standard of the food which we thoroughly enjoyed. Go now and enjoy as the hotel will soon be busy again. A great place to stay before you go into Kruger."

Be prepared to wait a while for pool towels as they were never available at reception the 3 times we needed them... Breakfast was not great but had the necessary components to get by. Coffee was dispensed in an urn and tasted stale at every breakfast seating. Chef during weekday duty overstuffed the omlet and did not...

"The room was stuffy,luckiky weve brought the air spray, bedding as well we had to rrport it but the next day their friendly cleaning stuff changed the bedding and dprayed the room The place is damp it needs paving as shown on the pictures,the pool to be repainted The Receptionist and Restaurant staff were very friendly,the food was nice"
