Our rooms were great we had cabins on the river which were amazing! Staff were very friendly and helpful only issue we had was we never saw hippos! Nobody’s fault but was the main reason for booking!

Saw hippos first 5 mins on property. Helicopter ride was awesome. Food was ok but view from restaurant was awesome. 10mins to Kroger gate. 2 minute drive to elephant whisperers. 2 minutes to Perry’s trading post

Loved the style and staff service. Even if the hotel is in a more remote area there are few things to do around. The helicopter scenic flights from the hotel is definitely unique service.

Highly recommend Hippo Hollow Hotel.

Hippo Hollow was a excellent hotel. Staff was amazing and provided excellent customer service. We stayed 8 nights and after the first day, they knew what drinks we wanted and other preferences. We stayed in a delectable chalet and the room the beautiful, but the view was the best part. We saw elephant and hippos everyday. Wonderful location, 15 min drive to Kruger. Restaurant was delicious.

Excellent place to stay.Close to the Kruger Park.

We were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is beautiful and the room comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the service we received was superb. Every member of the staff went out of their way to make matters more pleasant for us. The one lady in the restaurant,Martha, was a star.She quickly noticed that my wife and I were older people (well on our way to our eighties) and she insisted that we remain at our table whilst she dished up for us. She is an asset for the hotel. The security man at the main entrance was also a very helpful and friendly man. We can recommend this establishment to all and everybody. We'll be back

Amazing place, but completely helpless people.

The place is really amazing and is located in a really good area. Also the people that works there is really nice, but they were completely helpless since the very beginning. I've mailed them to ask them if they can help me to arrive and if they could help me with some tours options but they never answer. Once we arrived, every tour we booked trough them was tricky (with the price, if lunch was included or not, etc.) and when we asked them to look for us a shuttle to our next destination, they didn't make a big effort to help us either. I still think that being such a luxury and expensive accommodation, It's unforgivable that they have not taken care of us properly, but if you are able to managed by yourself, 100% recommendable.

Kruger Park Short Stay

Quality 3 star short stay establishment . This is a decent basic hotel. It's good for a 2 or 3 night stay while visiting Kruger Park or the Hazyview area. It's clean, safe and convenient. The rooms/décor are outdated but in good condition. Restaurant is nice with good service and good food and variety. The hippo comes out by the lake 7 -8 pm each night during dinner

Een goed hotel op prima lokatie

Mooie kamer met mooi uitzicht, jammer dat er geen tv aanwezig was maar verder prima. Prima restaurant, goed verzorgd ontbijt en goede menu kaart. Prima tips gekregen wat te doen in de directe omgeving.

when we arrived at Hippo Hollow we got quite a warm welcome only to find out that the reason was that they had over booked and we were the unlucky couple and was told that we had to move to Perry Bridge Hollow. We were told that the reason was a systems error. This is a really bad reflection on your website. I will think twice before using the application to book. I was wondering which friend or family member received my room at Hippo Hollow. What was done was ethically wrong. I am not sure what the rates are and whether we paid extra to stay at Perry Bridge Hollow. I will think twice before I go to any Seasons in Africa Hotel. I wanted to stay at Hippo Hollow not another establishment.

Calm resort style lodge

Nicely situated on a river bank and quite close to the southern part of Kruger. We stayed for one night on our way from JNB to a tented camp close to Skukuza. The food and service was good thru-out. The only dispointment was that I (with certainty) forgot a pair of binoculars on the room. When we went back to the hotel. No one seemed to remember having seen it.

Prachtige tuinen! Chalets met rivierzicht zijn een aanrader! Centraal gelegen om Krugerpark en Lowveld te bezoeken. Vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt en avondeten was perfect.
