"Quick and friendly check where they offered us bottles of water. They added a lounge/bar that is very convenient. The outside lounge are is very nice as well. Room is clean with a comfortable bed and 2 different styles of pillows. Which is nice considering most hotels give you one kind of pillow and it is not great. "

"Room was renovated and clean but the outside wasn’t updated. My children were scared to sleep there. Unfortunately no cable and when I asked to have it looked at nobody came. I just needed somewhere rest and it worked for that. But it wasn’t matching to the online photos. And a 100 dollar deposit ridiculous."

"This place was wonderful! It was better than advertised. The room had everything you need for your stay, Sherry the host obviously put a lot of thought into it. Sherry was great to work with and the Horseshoe bar and grill had excellent pizza. The view of the lake is beautiful, especially when the sun comes up. We would definitely recommend this cottage and will hopefully stay there again. "

"I had a very disappointing experience during my stay at this hotel. From the moment I checked in, there was a strong, unpleasant odor throughout the property that made it uncomfortable to even be in the room. It’s clear that the hotel is in serious need of renovation and better upkeep. The cleanliness was especially concerning. The room did not appear to have been properly cleaned, and the bedsheets seemed unchanged from the previous guest, which is completely unacceptable. Basic hygiene standards were not met, and it made the stay feel unhygienic and unsettling. Overall, I would not recommend staying here. The management needs to address cleanliness, maintenance, and overall guest experience before it can be considered a decent place to stay. "
