Very nice Colonial house with beautiful furniture, high ceilings and mosaic floors, comfortable and clean. Located in center of Vedado a short walking distance to main attractions. The best out of all the amenities they offer you is the service. The staff is awesome, Dayana and Yasier are sweet, friendly and are on top of every needed detail to make you feel welcome. The breakfast in the backyard is very relaxed and pleasant.

It made my trip to cuba stress free and enjoyable. Staff was kind and flexible, I needed to get an earlier breakfast and they accommodated me, they washed my clothes upon request. Customer service was great and the place is a jewel, very well decorated and clean. Please keep it up, Cuba needs more places like this

Very nice place to stay in Habana, away from the chaotic habana Vieja. The bedroom was small but with all the facilities we needed. The Wi-Fi worked for the all time in the hotel with no problems! And the Staff was very friendly and helpful. Totally recommend the hotel!

House is over 100 years old. Unique architecture. Family and staff very welcoming. Low cost breakfast was delicious. Really liked they had a complimentary water cooler to fill up my bottle. I would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location. They speak and Understand English! Rooms are big and very clean and airy!Breakfast is plentiful. Staff are very helpful & plenty of restaurants nearby to experience proper Cuban cooking. Place is perfect.

I really like that I had an upstairs and downstairs it was a very cozy very private I feel very safe. I was a little sad that I didn’t get a balcony view but overall I still had a very wonderful stay

Unhappy with room and Manager.
The accommodation itself is nice and in a good area. My issue was was the manager who is the older son who seems to look after the property and he seems to be the one that deals with any issues. I had booked a specific room in the house and when I arrived after a long flight we were shown to our room. The room we were given was definitely not the room i booked. the next day I spoke to staff and the manager, who said we were in the right room and they were full so could do nothing about this. The upstairs part of the room where the bed was began smelling of damp and had no real ventilation. When i spoke to the manager again he again said nothing he could do, then went on to say this was the room I had booked. I assured him it was not. The next again day I asked if there was any way of being moved. I eventually spoke to the younger brother and he was really helpful and polite, he got us an air fresher for the room. He also called his brother who then spoke to me on the phone in an extremely rude manner, basically accused me of lying and telling me that I had booked this room and if I was not happy he could suggest somewhere else to stay. I had booked to stay here twice on my visit , however do not return for the last night as I felt totally unwelcome and worried I would be put in the same room.

Friendly Family
The 5 rooms are located on the first floor of a very big and beautiful house and the rooms are mezzanine style with the bedroom up on a second floor. The rooms have enough space and a little kitchenette. We only stayed the one night but it was very comfortable and the breakfast for 5 CUCs was well worth it with a selection of fruit, eggs, bread coffee etc available. The family seem friendly and offered to help with anything we needed like tourist advice, but it was our last night in Havana so didn't need help. There is wifi available if you buy the wifi cards you need in Cuba, but the connection was quite slow. The location is not too great as there are no shops/restaurants in the immediate vicinity but a short 10-15 minute walk is only required.

I cannot say enough good things about this family or this casa!!! It was nice to come home to such a beautiful house and beautiful room!! Every amenity you could need was available at this house. The family was so good to us and helped us with whatever we needed including helping get a last minute ride to Trinidad and Cienfuegos when my tour fell through! This was such an amazing place to stay and I am SO very happy I found this place!! I wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else!

Nice and Secure
This place was super secure with locked gates and everything. The staff was nice and the son speaks really good English. They responded to all my needs promptly. There is a buzzer downstairs that you can ring and someone will always come out and see what they can do for you.

The hotel is amazing, same like in the pictures, stuff is speaking perfectly English, really nice and helpful, what we really missed in our room were windows with fresh air. If you re taller than 180cm you ll feel uncomfortable as the ceiling is too low.

I had a wonderful stay. Diana provided a delicious breakfast each morning complete with fresh fruit juice and fruits. Alex was great, providing guidance on navigating Havana. My room was clean and very comfortable. It was very quiet and I was able to have a restful stay. They arranged a taxi for my trip back to the airport seamlessly. I had the best time with this family. Hope to return soon.

I could not have experienced a better stay in Cuba anywhere else. The staff here was incredibly accommodating, helpful, and friendly. The family is very warm and open to all of their guests. Being my first time visiting Cuba, it was extremely difficult choosing a property to stay at since no one really had reviews yet. After weeks of searching properties, I took a gamble on this place and it was no doubt an absolute win! I am very particular about clean facilities, safe environments and amenities. This location exceeded all my expectations. I cannot wait to visit Cuba again and I will definitely be staying at Marques de Liz again :)

Leider nicht möglich konsumieren weil Mann konnte nicht mit Schweizer Franken bezahlen. Die Zimmer zum Strasse ist sehr laut. Wifi hat nicht funktioniert. Keine heisse Wasser, sonst alles gut.
