Take it easy at this unique and tranquil home for two! Perfect for a peaceful romantic getaway. 0.4 mi to ocean and 0.5 mi to Sound.

Make the most of your time in Hatteras, travel by bike, by foot or by car to the nearest shops or restaurants, seafood markets or take the Hatteras Ferry further south for a day trip exploring the 16 miles of beaches on Ocracoke Island, the Ocracoke Village and Pamlico Sound!

Located conveniently off Route 12! A comfortable spot to relax and enjoy the slower pace of Hatteras living. Easy access to all that Hatteras has to offer!

Gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

Gather used towels: Leave in a pile in hamper or bathroom. Start a load of towels if you would like - not a request! Leave beds alone - do not strip!

Throw trash away: Remove all trash from house (kitchen, bathroom, etc) place in dumpster outside of house. Make sure all dishes are clean, dry and put away.

Turn things off: Turn all lights off. Set AC to 74 in summer and Heat to 68 in the winter at departure. Lock all doors & windows at your departure. If a key was used please put it back in lockbox.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Last minute stay in Hatteras

We had such an amazing time at the Eagle Pass Cabina! We booked last minute (only a few days before) and the host was so accommodating. She was only a text away and responded almost immediately to any questions we had. The walk to the beach was quiet and easy. I was also able to walk to the dancing turtle every day for coffee. Would absolutely stay here again, 10/10!

Spring getaway

Location was great, easy walking to beach and short drive to stores. We loved the shady, screened in porch! The space was well furnished with a very comfortable bed! We would highly recommend this property.

The property was nice and private in a very peaceful area. We enjoyed our 1 year anniversary very much, we were close to the beach and walking trails all within walking distance.

Great place for a weekend getaway!

This was a lovely place to stay in Hatteras! Very clean and comfortable. Perfect for our anniversary weekend. Had we been there longer, we probably would have spent more time on the porch. We walked to the beach nearby, but if you had lots of stuff, you could drive. The host tells you where to park for that beach.

Excellent. Very clean. Full kitchen with all that we needed to cook. Three or four block walk to the beach on quiet roads. I was very pleased!

Gia has been absolutely a most wonderful host and we deeply appreciate her assistance and more than grateful to have stayed at Eagle Pass Cabina! What an absolutely perfectly cozy little home and so close to Pamlico Sound and the Sea! Everything in the house was exactly what we needed for our 38th anniversary mini-vacation. Eagle Pass Cabina may look somewhat plain and unassuming from the outside, but once you set foot inside, it is so very cozy and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable as well, the bathroom/washing machine area just the right size.The only two miniscule bits were two visits from roaches (expected down the shore mostly) and we wish (and asked Gia!) there were handles for the pocket doors. Recovering from shoulder surgery earlier this year and two thumb surgeries in September, it was a bit of a challenging process, trying to grasp the receded door. Neither of the above have detracted us from formulating next year's anniversary weekend back at Eagle Pass Cabina!Thank you. Gia and VRBO for nailing the perfect weekend!
