"The door didn't lock when I arrived; I had to wait to lock my stuff safely, and it took 3 hrs (8:30 p.m.). Everything was wet because the humidifier wasn't on. Couldn't use the couch or chair because it was gross! The couch cushions had what looked like blood on them... I didn't even touch it, and I couldn't use half of the place I rented. "The listing described the accommodations as a bed and a pull-out couch. When we arrived, we found that instead of a pull-out couch, there was only a small futon, which did not adequately accommodate our two guests. Because of this, we ultimately had to find another place to stay.The woman who managed the property was very nice, responsive, and accommodating, but unfortunately she wasn’t able to provide the sleeping arrangements we needed for our two-guest check-in.I do feel the listing...

"Staff was so helpful with advice on impending storm. Beds were comfortable nice size refrigerator in room. Outdoor balconies were comfortable for enjoying the view and socializing. Best of all they gave us a refund when weather forced an early departure. Definitely getting my future business."

"My wife and I have stayed here probably 4 or 5 previous times. We always stay in the cabin because it has a bathroom and we don't have to walk to the bath house in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. It is a great priced campground and close to everything in Hatteras ya need. I always stay here for fishing trips out of hatteras marina. Will continue to stay here and I hope this place never sells out or ever closes because it's an amazing location. Also it's a super quiet area."

"Very clean and comfortable. Close enough to everything you need, including shops, food markets and restaurants. Less than a five minute walk to the beach. Just a short boat ride to many great fishing spots. Our host was very responsive and helpful. Extremely friendly neighbors. The perfect place for what we want in a Hatteras vacation. We didn't want to leave. Definitely looking forward to our next stay."

"If vacationing with a large party, this house is the perfect fit. Each of our guests had their own room with bathroom, many overlooking the ocean! The home was very clean and stocked with everything we needed, staff were attentive, and the pool was clean & ready to use. Our kids loved the theatre room and gaming area! The outdoor area is fenced in and private, offering a huge outdoor bar with grills, hot tub & lots of seating. We really enjoyed our stay and we hope to be back in the future!"

"We loved this vacation and our cottage! The cottage was reasonably priced, and it had everything we needed! The host was easy to communicate with as well. We like to try new locations and go on different adventures when we vacation as a family, but coming back to the Outer Banks and this cottage in particular is something we’d strongly consider, as we truly had such a great vacation!"
