"Front door parking, easy check in, really clean areas. The coffee shop, restaurant and bar is below, rooms above. Beautiful brass bed and comfy. Coffee pot out in the hall with easy access. I would definitely recommend this hotel."
"We enjoyed our stay at green gables. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom and room had been upgraded, room had nice character too-we liked the wooden chair & decor and sitting on the front porch. Air conditioning worked fine. We would stay here again if in the area."
Beautiful Custom Home near Lake McCumber & Mt Lassen
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent with one caveat. No A/C. With July temps at 90 the house was high 70s. Tolerable and pretty comfortable with all the fans going. But if you have a special needs guest (e.g. epilepsy) who cannot tolerate warm environments it is worth thinking about. Would definitely revisit the excellent house and host. For me and my family it would not be in summertime."
"A short drive from the North entrance to Lassen Park. So quiet and a beautiful tranquil setting. Breakfast- two thumbs up! All wonderful. Milo, the wonder dog, was an amazing host."
"This is a beautiful cabin! Note that the first image of the water is not representative of this cabin. It is nowhere near the water. Despite the confusion the picture caused me, the cabin was clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the stay. I just wish I had read more carefully, rather than relying on the first pic I saw, which led me to believe it was near the water. My mistake. It was quite hot during our visit, but the AC worked. A special treat was being visited by a beautiful grey fox every morning!"

"Gorgeous place! It’s in a lovely, quiet area overlooking Hat Creek, so whether you’re an angler, a birder, or just a nature enthusiast, you’ll love it! The view of the stars and the Milky Way at night are amazing! The house was sparkling clean when we arrived and had absolutely everything that we needed for our stay. There are a lot of comfy places inside to relax and look out at the lovely view after a long day of exploring. The hosts were wonderful and gave us lots of tips on places to go and things to do in the area. We had a fabulous time and are already planning to come back. (The possibilities for snowshoeing have us excited!) Wonderful place and we’re looking forward to returning! Thanks!!"
Fascinating volcanic rocks suggest an enormous debris avalanche shook the area just a few centuries ago. Swim in the lake and hike around the mountains.
