"Decent motel, clean with nice bathroom. Great place for a night's stay."
Drakesbad Guest Ranch
10/10 Excellent
"The rooms at Drakesbad are basic but do have a sink and toilet. The shower block is about 100 yards away. The food is very good and 3 meals per day included. The trails are overgrown and it is about 1.5 hours drive to the main park entrance and trails like bumpass. It is a nice place to get away from it all and the staff is very friendly"
1950's themed cute and cozy cabin in Old Station.
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful spot. We had everything we needed for our stay. It was very clean, cozy, and family friendly! We appreciated that the cabin was close enough to drive to Lassen park entrance. Jill was super friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and flexible. Would definitely stay again!"
Burney Motel
10/10 Excellent
"Friendly staff and had good accommodations. Loved the fridge it included"
The Hat Creek Retreat
10/10 Excellent
"Super cute cabin. So many extra little touches that really made a difference. The sunrise and sunsets over the pines were incredible. Unfortunately I picked the hottest week of the year so the fire pit was not able to be utilized, but I’d love to roast marshmallows here someday. We went so many places and saw so many things, but there was still so much more we didn’t have time for. Host was easy to get a hold of with questions."
Entire home just 14 miles from Lassen Volcanic National Park
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed here for three nights while visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park. The house was exactly what we needed to be able to cook dinners and spread out after long days visiting the park. The master bedroom and bathroom were very nice. We appreciated the double sink in the bathroom and large closet. The kitchen was fairly well stocked. The only recommendation would be to have at least one cutting board and more detailed instructions on how to use the stove. We were concerned that if it would turn off on its own after we finished with it. Having a garage was nice because our car stayed cool and we were able to easily pack and unpack right by the kitchen. The garage also had a plastic axe throwing board which we all enjoyed. We played basketball with the hoop in the driveway. We used the fire pit on our last night there which was a nice way to end our trip. The home looks to have been updated in the past few years and everything was nicely laid out. The showers had body wash and shampoo and the laundry had pods and dryer sheets. The drive was a little long but short of staying in the park, there didn't seem to be anything much closer. We didn't mind the drive as it was pretty and we got to see some wild animals. This is a great house for a family or group of friends traveling together. I would recommend checking this place out if you are headed to Lassen."
