    On your doorstep, several woodland walks invite you to slow down, stretch your legs, and breathe in the fresh Sussex air. After a busy day, return to the peace of the cottage — your private haven in the countryside.
    Step inside, and you’ll find a home that beautifully balances Victorian character with modern comfort.
    Start in the kitchen, a bright and practical space where you can prepare everything from simple breakfasts to hearty dinners. With its dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer, it has all the conveniences you need for a stress-free stay.
    From there, wander into the lounge, where a deep sofa and a glowing log burner invite you to curl up with a book, enjoy a movie on the TV, or gather around with the family for a game night. Shelves are stocked with games for children, making it a space full of laughter and relaxation.
    For mealtimes, the dining area becomes the heart of the cottage. The large wooden table, seating up to six, is perfect for long family meals, celebratory dinners, or cozy evenings by candlelight.

    When the day draws to a close, retreat upstairs to one of the three comfortable bedrooms — each designed to offer a restful night’s sleep after a day of countryside walks or seaside adventures.

    Step outside to a large, private garden with a beautiful lawn and sunny patio. In summer, the garden stays bright until sunset — the perfect setting for a relaxed BBQ, alfresco dining, or an afternoon glass of wine.

    PETS ALLOWED!
    We know holidays are better with your four-legged friends. Well-behaved dogs are warmly welcomed (£60/Dog/Stay). To keep the barn comfortable for all, we ask that dogs remain downstairs, off the furniture, and are not left alone for extended periods. With endless countryside walks on your doorstep, they’ll love it here as much as you do!
    - Be mindful, careful and gentle with the house, it`s old and fragile! We expect guests to clean up any spillage`s and treat the house respectfully.
    - No smoking indoors please
    - There will be some logs for a first fire for your arrival, afterwards you can purchase more from our local supplier (details provided before your stay)
    -Well behaved Dogs are welcome and can use the ground floor only.
    - No parties (small social gatherings and dinner parties are allowed)
    - Low beams in places so please mind you head!

    Pet Policy

    Pets are not allowed anywhere upstairs or on any of the soft furnishings throughout the property.

    If dogs get wet on a walk they will be thoroughly dried on arrival home.

    Dogs should not be left alone in the property for more than 4 hours at a time. Guests must ensure that their dogs will not cause damage to the property if they are left unsupervised.

    All guests are responsible for their pets in accordance with the Animal Welfare Act.

    All pets kept at the property must be vaccinated and regularly treated for fleas and worms (if appropriate).

    Guests are responsible for keeping all areas of the property clean and free from parasites, such as fleas.

    Guests must ensure their pets do not cause a nuisance to neighbours. This includes excessive noise. Dogs must be kept under control and on a lead in any public places, communal areas and walkways.

    Pets must not be allowed to foul inside the property. Any pet faeces must be removed immediately from the garden or outside areas and disposed of safely and hygienically.

    Any animal listed in the schedule of the Dangerous Wild Animals Act 1976 may not be kept at the property.

    Any dog listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 may not be kept at the property with the exception of dogs registered on the Index of Exempted Dogs.
