Thank you for the top marks! We're so pleased you enjoyed your stay, and look forward to seeing you again soon.
We stayed with our daughter & husband & had such a wonderful stay. Rooms very spacious and comfortable. Spotlessly clean with great facilities. The restaurant food was fabulous. Our only criticism was that the portions were on the small side for the prices.
We stayed for one night at the hotel, the location was great and so was the breakfast. Unfortunately the rooms are very tired and definitely in need of a refurbishment. In general a pleasant stay
Terrible hotel!! The only good thing was the bar staff in the evening and the lady who was on in the morning.
Food wasn’t overly great but ok.
Ironing board came off the wall in the room
Ceiling tiles fallen down in the hallway and buckets along the walk way with lamps on for light!
When arriving we asked about the pool and hot tub, to hear them hot tub hasn’t worked for years’... the steam room and sauna was off!
Room was dirty

Overall a reasonable hotel. However my room was a bit dated in that it had old windows with blinds that let in a lot of light, the windows also allowed a draft and outside noise in. Unfortunately there were cobwebs above head and the room had the smell as if it was once a smokers room.
But, the bed was very comfortable and the staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable . The food in the restaurant downstairs was also great.
The hotel could do with a few updates or have the price reduced to reflect this, as I feel it was overpriced for the quality of room.
Otherwise, a comfortable stay!

Tired hotel with good facilities and staff.
Staff very helpful, a bit tired and rough around the edges
but serves its purpose, could do with a little TLC to make a very good hotel.

Lovely friendly and helpful staff and good location in the centre of Haslemere.
The staff were really nice however the hotel was filthy. I found dried urine on my toilet seat and had to wipe down the bathroom because it wasn't cleaned correctly.
There was a big hole from the rotting ceiling that was above the shower. In fact, pieces of the ceiling would fall off into the shower at nihht so it looked like somebody dropped mud or Moss into the shower.
Also the black leather headboards were outdated and covered in dust. I had to clean that too.
I have never cleaned a hotel room before. It was just disgusting.
If they cleaned up the place, then it would be great as the staff were very friendly.
The hotel is in a state of disrepair and that is not clear from Hotels.com. If you are fancying a romantic break, this is NOT the place in its current state.
Bar staff were lovely though and it was convenient for what we were doing on the next day.
The property has loads of character & is worthwhile staying there for that reason, plus its proximity to shopping & other activities.
Staff need to be more vigilant after mid-night when partying continued for some time after that. Probably Christmas celebrations but that is no excuse for disrupting other visitors.
Hotel is very tired, shower tray filthy on arrival.
Young man on reception was very good.
We were offered a different room (a supposed upgrade) but this was even worse.
As there were no house keepers on a Saturday afternoon, the young man on reception cleaned out the shower.
Hotel very tired, everywhere! Tap loose in bathroom, coridoor lights not working due to water through the roof, tv too tiny, lovely swimming pool but lockers tatty, showers tatty.
Overall, we had an enjoyable stay at the Georgian Hotel. The location is excellent and everything you need is within a 1 - 10 minute walk. The staff are friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet has limited choices but the hot meal option was delicious and filling.
We stayed in the superior room. It was quite spacious. Despite facing the main high street, it was very quiet and we were able to get a decent nights sleep. The mattress was very comfortable and the sheets were clean.
The only negative points for us is that the room/bathroom wasn't all that clean and the room needs modernising.
If I'm ever back in Haslemere I would be happy to stay here again. The location, free parking, friendly staff and good breakfast are the main points in choosing this hotel.
Mattress was shocking, it was like sleeping on metal springs. Infact, I didn't sleep!
Old n run down, they even used an old lamp to light the corridor to my room,
Spa was great. Staff very friendly although could be a bit more proactive with providing Spa key. After asking where it was and walking there. Found you needed a key code! General maintenance could be improved. There was also a lamp in the narrow corridor leading to my room which should be removed! Didn't try breakfast but bar was cozy. Recommended.

Lovely friendly staff. Enjoyable meal in the restaurant, they were very accommodating for my young child. Room was, as described by others, tired but clean and you get what you pay for. Great to be able to use the pool.

Nice little hotel in parts
Fantastic staff, very friendly, especially at breakfast. Unfortunately my room was in the extension which was not Georgian nor in good condition. That part of the hotel is stained, on the floors and the ceiling tiles but is very clean.
Price was great via hotels.com but comfort was lacking due to the condition of the part of the hotel I experienced.

Unfortunately the property is looking very tired, with various water stains on the corridor carpets.
Lovely stay. While the hotel is charming, the bathrooms and mattresses do require an upgrade.

Worst hotel ever. Demolition would be kindness to the lovely town of haslemere. Frontage alone is a disgrace. Hot buffet breakfast was cold flooring filthy. Ceiling water damaged. Dreadful.
No excuse for lack of maintenance or cleanliness despite cheap price.
See photos. Saving grace was that bed was clean and comfortable, and could swim in the pool. No Sunday lunch or dinner. Staff really friendly though. A real shame as this was, not so long ago, clearly a lovely place to stay but now just relies on weekend weddings. Perhaps a sign that internet alternatives (no names!) are still killing the traditional hotel industry
