I loved the filtered water fountain and the bottle that was provided, but the rooms could use a little updating. There was no microwave at all and no refrigerator! The pool was nice and warm "

"This is a refurbished stately old hotel, with huge rooms and a very friendly staff. It's about a half mile from the French quarter and much quieter (Lafayette park is right next door). There's an excellent restaurant kitty- corner and a well regarded steak house next door within the building. There's also a very good grocery store two blocks away which has a good selection of wines and beers and take out foods. "
