The cottage was ADORABLE!! It was very clean and everything was as stated in the description online. I did not clean upon our arrival like I normally do so that says ALOT!! Doug was very informative before our arrival and stayed in contact with me to make sure we made it and there were no issues. Would definitely stay at this cottage again!! Highly recommend!!

Relaxing getaway

This is our second time staying and it was just as great as the first time. We love staying at this house. My husband enjoyed fishing all day while I stayed and read by the fire. It was so relaxing. The hosts are so nice and the best on VRBO.

We had a wonderful stay at the Meadmore cottage on Hartwell Lake. The property is beautiful. The cottage is so clean and decorated nicely. We had six adults and my thrèe year old granddaughter. The cottage is safe for children and has three full baths. The owner, Doug is so nice and very accommodating. We could only stay two nights due to prior scheduling. We will definitely return to the same cottage. I recommend leaving a down payment as early as possible. This cottage already has most of the summer booked! I highly recommend this cottage. I found it on VRBO. On a scale of 1-10, I give it 100! Yup 100!!!! Thank you Doug for making our mini vacation fabulous 👌 😎

Wonderful family getaway

This was the perfect property and home for what we needed. Our family of 5 stayed for a long weekend and it was perfect for fishing, floating in the lake, canoeing and just being together. The cove is peaceful and quiet. Doug, the owner, was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our visit very much and hope to be back!!

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The property is very nice, peaceful, and extremely well cared for. Everything was clean and thoughtfully prepared for our arrival. The cabin had everything we needed, including fresh linens, plush towels, full kitchen supplies, and even games for entertainment. There was also a pool table, which added a fun touch to our stay. The layout was spacious with ample room to relax, and the décor was lovely and welcoming. We appreciated having Chromecast, cable, and reliable Wi-Fi, which made it easy to unwind in the evenings. The atmosphere was serene and perfect for a quiet getaway. The owner provided helpful information before our trip and was available if we needed anything, which made the experience smooth and stress-free. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and we are already planning another visit.

Weekend Away from Atlanta

Doug, the property owner was professional, friendly and responsive. The property is located on a great section of Lake Hartwell as it's quiet and private. We loved hanging out at the boat dock and using the kayak's and floaties. The beds were comfortable, and the place was clean and exactly as pictured.

Host couldn’t be nicer or more helpful

We stayed for the month of February. I am a bass fishing enthusiast. I have fished in many places and really enjoy it. The host Doug was extremely helpful with my boat and trailer and was willing to assist putting the boat in and taking it out. Pool table and fireplace were great.I would highly recommend this property and will be back myself.Phil from NY
