"If you’re looking to get away on a mountain side retreat with a wonderful view, this is it. The mornings are beautiful with the sunrise behind the mountain you’re on; you get to watch the sun come up and light up the valley. This is the perfect place to just get away and relax. If you have young ones, the yard isn’t very big; you’re literally on the side of a mountain, but the porch wraps around 3/4 of the house and is very roomy. We loved it as just getting away was the point of our trip. I’ll miss the morning cup of coffee on the front porch watching the sun light up the valley. We will definitely return. We went into Dillsboro, some nice shops, priced for tourists, but they’re a tourist town I guess. We ate at the Beech Mountain Diner, it was fantastic, reasonably priced. "
