We had a lovely stay at shadybrook cottage which is set in lush and cool gardens. Lots of birds, fresh blackberries and quiet.
Great hosts and we would definitely recommend!
Stunning property and gardens to explore - we loved watching the birds while eating on the verandah. Cabin was clean and had everything needed. Thank you John and Anne.

Perfect stay
Great little cottage with everything you need. Beautiful grounds to go for a stroll on, and only 5 min walk to local bakery, hotel/bar and pizzeria. John was great to deal with, and everything was as described. Would definitely stay again.
We had a really lovely, relaxing stay at this gorgeous cottage. It had everything we needed, really clean and wonderfully cozy. It was in such a beautiful location and the gardens were lovely. It would definitely be somewhere we will come back to, perhaps late Spring/Summer to see the garden in all its glory. Our hosts were very obliging and helpful and I would recommend this cottage to everyone. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing break. Susan K
These cottages are so cosy and well equiped, the gardens are amazing and it is so peaceful and private. Owners are nothing but super friendly and courteous, they spoilt us with there kindness.
We were very disappointed as our stay was unfortunately cut short due to COVID-19, however we found John to be so helpful and accommodating and the accommodation was very cosy, quiet and clean in a lovely garden setting. Easy walk to trailheads to Mt. Feathertop. Will definately be back, thank you John :)
Lovely cottage and the surrounding gardens were beautiful. It had everything we needed and was close to walking trails in Harrietville. Thanks Anne and John for your hospitality.
A beautiful cottage in an amazing garden! Credit to you both and enjoyed by my daughter and I. Definitely will recommend your accomodation to anyone wishing to stay in this region.
The owners are very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation was clean and cosy (true to description) & only a short drive up to Mt. Hotham or even Falls!

A wonderful, relaxing stay
We stayed in one of the 1-bed cottages, and it was just fantastic. Impeccably clean and comfortable, just perfect for a relaxing weekend. The cottage has everything you need - heating, TV, microwave, some hotplates, couches, and a separate bedroom with a very comfy bed. The cottages are set in a beautiful garden which, at the time we were there, were blazing with autumn color. We will definitely go back!
