"My husband and I stayed at the property. Parking was easy and safe. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was updated with a nice modern shower. The staff was available by text. The common areas (we didn't use because we were visiting family not far from the property) included a large kitchen, big screen theater room with 8 recliners and a living room area. Over all our stay was enjoyable for the amount of time we spent there for sleeping. "

"Everything was very nice and well stocked.We had been here but a short time and my wife said "I could live here. Easily". Such a relaxing spot. We spent the majority of our time on that wonderful deck, enjoying the sights and sounds of the river. There were a variety of birds with also ducks, geese and a loon, fish jumping, a couple of squirrels jumping and playing. Saturday there were 3 barges passing in opposite directions at once. Sunday morning, just after sunrise, two were passing at the same time. Very peaceful.Saturday afternoon we made an hour drive over to The Log Inn, in Haubstadt. Built in 1825. One of the old, original rooms, was dined in by Abe Lincoln. Worth the drive.Derby is a nice, friendly little town."

"The house was cute, beds were comfortable, loved the nice new bathrooms! Cozy living room, kitchen was nicely layout and had most of the things you would need to prepare a meal. Only a few negatives, one the river behind the house was extremely low due to the damn that was being repaired. We picked this house for the water excess for fishing. We still managed to fish but in a water source that was more like a creek than a Rough River. The other downside was the distance to the cave was a lot further than we anticipated. But all in all we still had a great time and would love to come back when the damn is fixed. It’s a beautiful area."

"This was better than the pictures! Tons of room and even though there were cabins on each side we had so much privacy!! It really was such a great stay - we enjoyed every aspect of the home. The scrabble message welcoming us along with the music was just an added touch that we appreciated.It was very peaceful and was exactly what we needed - thank you for sharing your space with us!"
