"First time staying here and I'm already thinking about returning in a few months!
Staff are very helpful, rooms are immaculate, food is soooo good! And the drinks, highly recommend a Grapefruit Spritz!"
"I was disappointed about the spa services and no communication was offered. The steam and sauna rooms were not working. I was given a voucher which I used but it didn't benefit me because nothing was working. The receptionist didn't inform anyone about the facilities not working."
"Stayed for two nights in a twin room with a balcony. Overall experience was very positive with a friendly and accommodating welcome at reception. Room was functional and clean with a personal safe and small refrigerator included. There was some spots that cleaning missed in the bathroom around the shower but otherwise no complaints on cleanliness.
The balcony itself did not have a view of the beach however it was pleasant to sit at in the evening. If you don't mind the usual bustle of the city and the view being more the opposite building than the beach the balcony is worth it.
A buffet style breakfast was included in our stay which we took advantage of both days. Selection of fruit, hot and cold options were available along with some cereals and pastries. Hot options were different on each day, with some unusual options such as onion rings and chicken nuggets one of the days, alongside the usual fried eggs and baked beans. Overall the breakfast was good with fresh pastries and bread. A coffee maker is available as well as fruit juices.
The pool and sun bathing area is located on the top floor, with an observation area overlooking the beach and ocean and pool bar. The pool is deep and clean but being high up on windy days may be inaccessible and unpleasant to lounge around at for long.
The location is right on the beach with a number of restaurants and bars in walking distance. Bus station is about a ten minute walk away. If you saying in Arrecife I would recommend it."
"Have stayed at La Cardona on several occasions over many years now & the cleanliness, comfort & staff have always been consistently very good.
The property is well maintained, & appears to be refreshed on a regular basis. Conveniently situated in Arrecife."
"The room was not cleaned properly, as there was stuff on the floor and even in the balcony. I do feel it depends on who was cleaning it, as they did the room late. The bathroom was clean well and the bedsheets were shabby but clean andnbath towel were fine. The air conditioning was rubbish to start of with and had to complain twice, but eventually after the third dayit was sorted. But still could have had more power coming through system. But was told there was a issue in that block which was block 2.
The lifts weren't on so we had to climb to the second floor which wasn't pleasaThe staff were very helpful and friendly at reception although I found the older ones a bit miserable when asking a simple question. The restaurant had a lot of food but it felt like it was the same dishes everyday but just cook differently and at times cold. Loved the salad and collection of cakes and fruit.
The pool restaurant was petty much the same. But always access to drink thoughout the day. The swimming pool was very big and quiet at times.
The hotel was situated at a really good spot, where basically all the restaurants, supermarkets and gift shops on your doorstep. The restaurants around the area was responsibly priced & there was so much places to eat out, if you choose half board or breakfast only. The beach to me wasn't appealing and I was happy to stay around the hotel pool. On a whole I would recommend this hotel and definitely stay there again if I went back to Lanzarote."
"We had a wonderful three day stay here! Our room was spotless and had beautiful tiling in the bathroom and on the balcony. The two pools are gorgeous, always plenty of sun loungers available (and they will get more out for you if you need). Enjoyed 7.50 cocktails at the pool bar! Breakfast was great, big selection of delicious pastries, hot items etc and a station cooking omelettes and pancakes. Dinner was also good, again there is a station cooking steaks, pork chops, fish etc to order and dinner has a different theme each night of the week. 10 min walk to the beach (would recommend Playa del Jablilo over Curachas as it's nicer for swimming) and lots of bars and restaurants nearby for drinks and lunch. Would 100% stay again."
"I'd give a million stars out of 1p in each category if I could. THAT HOUSE IS AMAZING! And the house owners are some of the nicest people I have EVER met in all my life. Fully recommended to each and everyone of you! The house is absolutely clean, and spacious far beyond what the photos promise. The living room is so lovely, comfy, I felt home there very fast. The upper bedroom is amazing! You can see the ocean through the window, you have so much space, and the bathroom en suite is such a luxury. Just like this one, the lower bedroom is comfy and charming, I slept there most of the time. Having two bathrooms was so great, because neither of us had to wait. The sweet spot? To me, it's the large porch on the first level. An outdoor kitchen that does not leave any wishes open (of course you have a fully equipped indoor kitchen, too!), space, sunlight, and again, the ocean. I spend nights on the porch just watching the stars while listening to the song of the waves. Huge bonus: The village itself. This is pure, authentic Lanzarote life. It's clean, heartly, and with its rough coastline, it's incredibly beautiful while offering save options to swim in many natural pools. Could I have wished for anything more for my stay? Absolutely not. It was a perfect stay, and I'm really looking forward to coming back. Warmest regards to you two, it was a pleasure to meet you! See you soon!"
