"Parking fee of $10 was unexpected, shower and bathroom doors dont lock they just slide closed. Have a big gap that you can see into the shower, no privacy. Sofa bed stained pretty bad. Was able to book for 2 adults and 5 children but only had enough sleeping space for 6 people not 7, had to go to Walmart and purchase a mattress. 😒. Breakfast was one of the worst ive experienced in a 3 star hotel. "

"Non-smoking room that smelled strongly of cigarettes, had burn marks on the bed and walls. Bed sheets were stained and had holes, when we complained and asked for new sheets were told "sometimes the sheets just look like that". Parking lot had groups of people gathering and what appeared to be drug deals going on, made us as a family a little uncomfortable but then the doors would not close and lock which became a major safety concern. Most of the staff we interacted with were friendly but not very helpful. This experience was so terrible we just canceled/checked out and went to a different hotel, was immensely disappointed and very confused about all these positive reviews. When we checked into the other hotel the clerk mentioned they had stayed there when they first moved to town and suffered from bed bugs and also had to check out early."

"This property was amazing. Clean and comfortable with walking access to downtown shops and restaurants. Enjoyed family time in a wonderful home with a fun and relaxing vibe. The host had every detail covered. "

"I didn’t realize that my husband and I couldn’t get to the living area due to a steep spiral staircase. I assumed there was another way inside. The host sent 2 links the day we were supposed to check in which I was not able to open. Her response to any inquiries was days later. I asked if we could be refunded but she said I would need to contact VRBO. Will we get a refund?"

"Overall, the location was wonderful. Very easy to get around, the owners were great at communicating how to get on the property and what they expected, and I loved how quiet and private the neighborhood was. That being said, the actual cleanliness of the property was horrendous. I got there later in the day, very easy check-in and access to the property. Phone service in that area is not great so make sure you have all the information you need before reaching the property. Once inside and settled, I noticed a couple strands of hair hanging from one of the bathroom towels. It went downhill from there. Over the next 24 hours, the amount of hair and blood found in the rental was disturbing. It was all over the walls, ceilings, floors, counters, in the bed, on all of the towels. There was unidentifiable dried stuff on one of the towels and all over the bathroom. I hate to write this, knowing that it's going to negatively affect the VRBO property value but it was terrible. The property and location were wonderful and I would have been so happy to stay there if the place was actually clean. "
