Wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful weekend! Beautiful location, the cabin was clean and so inviting. The spa and sauna were great added bonuses after 2 full days of skiing. We can highly recommend staying here and look forward to coming again next ski season.

Fantastic location to ski Nubs
Amazing location for skiing at Nubs Nob. Cute place but kitchen could use some TLC (and good cleaning). Missing key kitchen items (ie. cutting board, measuring cups & spoons). Great location to ski but no real space for gear so lower level can get really tight fast.

Feels like an “up north” home. Ski Locker is great!
Kim is a wonderful host. We enjoyed our stay. Everything was exactly as promised. Entry was easy. The ski locker at Nubs is really a huge advantage. We used it everyday. Good idea to get all the snow off your equipment before storing to avoid puddles. Property is very close to Nubs. Our group came back to the house for lunch every day. It’s nice to take a break and have some warm soup or chili. I brought a crock pot since there isn’t one in the house. The description does not mention a dishwasher, and we knew that ahead of time, so we took turns washing up. Lots of hot sudsy water. It was a little more work than I expected. We like the washer and dryer. The sauna is very very nice especially after a long day out in the cold. Good WiFi strength and there is cable TV = bonus. The big bear in the corner is a fun addition. We posed for a few pics!!

Great location close to Harbor Springs. Allowed us to use the house as a base camp for beach days, hiking, and charter boat fishing for a long weekend getaway.

Property was great and had everything we needed. While not in town for skiing the property is in a great location for biking, going to town or even doing a short trip to Mackinaw (did not do that this time). Around 20 minutes away from everything which was perfect. No excessive drives.

Great Ski Spot!
We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was very spacious and clean and communication from the owners was always swift and detailed. The location worked great for our group as it was walking distance from both Nub's Nob and Boyne Highlands.

Great place for a ski family!
Great place to stay to shed the mountain at Nubs Nob! We loved the decor and coziness of the place. The ski lockers at Nubs was a game changer! At the end of the day the sauna, jet tub, and warm fire made the best of a great day!

Lovely house near nub’s!
We were happy with our stay at this house. We had 5 adults and plenty of space. We cooked some meals and enjoyed the sauna. Communication with the owner was great. Checking in and out was simple and clear. We loved having our dog with us and there were plenty of places to walk her. We did drive back and forth to nub’s as the walk is about 1/2 mile. We would stay here again!

Really cozy, welcoming property! Plenty of room for all 8 of us to sleep and relax after our day of skiing. Only drawback was that there was not enough hot water for all of us to shower.

Warm Spacious Cabin
As a group of 4 snowboarders, this property made for an excellent stay located right next to Nub's Nob. The sauna was a perfect way to end the day. Our host was very friendly with excellent response times. We'd certainly stay here again!

Great home in a great location
My family and I stayed here for long weekend for the truck show in Mackinaw. The house is in a great area and we were very pleased with our stay. The gas chimenea was very nice. We loved the A frame look and the great room was great for relaxing at night. Really the only complaint we may have is we didn’t find all of the beds terribly comfortable. But overall great place to stay and will keep it in mind for the future.

Kimberly was an extremely accommodating and helpful host. She granted an early check-in request and always responded quickly to questions about the property and area. The house and property were exactly as described. Our family of seven was in town for a wedding. We had plenty of room and were very comfortable.

This place was perfect for our family of 4! So close to everything and had everything we needed to be comfortable for 4 days while our boys participated in hockey camp. Would definitely stay here again next year if available!

We greatly enjoyed the outdoors and this property was great for that. It has a wonderful deck and gas stove outside. There was plenty of room inside with great supplies. The place was clean and we greatly enjoyed it. Would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

A Bit Disappointed
We were pleased with the perfect location for our annual Girl’s Get-Away Trip. The lodging gave us close access to quaint cities for shopping, beaches to explore, paths to hike. Our group of 7 women enjoyed the layout of our lodging home. The dining room table was large for eating and playing games. Our disappointments: the pull-out bed on the couch was AWFUL (bumpy & worn), the water/air filter on the refrigerator didn’t work, the immediate surroundings of the outside porch was dirty and unkept, the outdoor fire pit area wasn’t kept up & provided seating for only 2 people. Most rentals have a booklet with house details. We had no clue how to use the indoor sauna since there was no booklet of any sort - so we didn’t use it. We left disappointed with our lodging choice for this trip.

Beautiful setting on a wooded lot
This rental is nessled in a private wooded area, within a ski resort community. Very nice area which is close to many local restaurants, several downtown shopping areas, tunnel of trees and 30 minute drive to Mackinaw City. Hosts were very kind and gave us lots of information on cute downtown areas to see, restaurants and their favorite places. House was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for the 4 of us. Would love to visit area again as we could not fit everything into our weekend schedule.

Nub’s Nob skiing getaway
House is conveniently located for Nub’s activity. The locker at Nub’s to store skis and boots overnight was a nice bonus that worked out well. Beds were comfortable, and the house had plenty of room for a fun family gathering.

This personal family home has a good location between Boyne highlands and Nubs Knob. The availability of the locker at Nubs is a benefit. The owners were responsive. The home needs TLC

I’m a little surprised and disappointed at the three star review and the mentioning of our home needing TLC. We open our home up to guests all winter and pretty much most of the summer. Some guests don’t respect the home as we do, bumping walls with luggage, dents in a one month old refrigerator, among other things. We recently replaced our dining room table and chairs due to people leaning on the backs and breaking them, legs being broken on the chairs, and Care not being taken with the top of the table, rings scratches etc. we are very particular and strive to keep our home in tiptop condition and share it with other people to enjoy the area. We do feel it is important to keep in contact with our guests, answering any questions they may have before, and during Thursday. We are happy you enjoyed the locker at Nubs Nob.

The house is in a great location. Only issue we had was the condition of the home. Small repairs needed throughout. Spend an hour cleaning the grill on the deck. I believe the grill has seen better days. Also, a book of sorts on house instructions would make the phone tag with the host alot less. TV'S, fireplace, ext.

A nice place!
We visited in the fall, as a group of friends. The property is located close to many local sights, in a quiet neighborhood. Everything we needed was available, the house was clean, the host was very helpful with information about the area, and the stuffed bear in the living room added a nice touch of the local character!

Fall Girls Weekend
Good clean fun! Charming home lots of room to entertain and visit. Central spot to run to bridge, local hikes, and beautiful beaches, rock hunters dream. The home was well kept and clean. This was a fall leaf visit. For the ski folk I can only imagine the fun that this local offers. Thinking that this is mainly used for ski endeavors, the hard woods floor gave away your travels...squeeze. I have to work on my ninja skills. The deck was wonderful by the pop belly stove at night. Thank you for allowing us to use this lovely home.

Nubs Nob Getaway
The last week of August was a great time to explore this beautiful part of Michigan. We felt things weren’t quite so busy.We had the woods and quiet of the ski resort area but were within 20-30 min of so many northern Michigan Lake attractions. We would highly recommend this comfortable and inviting place!

Great getaway
We stayed here for a surprise weekend trip for my wife's 40th birthday to meet some friends and it was great. Visiting in the spring had plenty of sunshine coming through the budding trees. This made it great to sit on the deck with the gas fire place. The sauna was a great addition for relaxing after a day of adventure. Hosts were very responsive and gave some great suggestions for our stay.

Great place for a getaway!
What a great little place near Nubs Nob ski resort, Harbor Springs and Petoskey. Plenty of room for 8 guests, love having the large upper deck, gorgeous bathroom on lower level with a sauna, jetted tub and a great shower! Hosts were very accomodating and responded quickly with all of our questions.
