Hotel is average. Staff are friendly and very kind, I could see they are making serious effort as hotel staff. Hotel has only two taxi vehicles for the guests, when all taxis out, we have to find other taxi near the hotel, but there are illegal money changers in front of the hotel, I felt uneasy about security.

Cresta Oasis
Negative point was that I could not get an invoice from the Hotel because I booked on Hotels.com thus anyone whose company require hotel invoices, be aware. My stay was good, the Internet and power were stable. The staff was friendly and the food decent with buffet breakfast every morning. Location was good with fast food and pharmacies 5 mins away

Comfortable Hotel
Was there for 5 nights for a business visit. Rooms are clean & comfortable. Staff is very friendly & ready to help. The only thing I found weird was that I didn’t get the invoice with check in check out dates as I had booked through Hotels.com

Booked two nights for my daughter with breakfast buffet ,and there was miss understanding in restaurant where they were told expedia made an err whereas the booking clearly said "with breafast buffet " and was told to top up extra $13 per head if they wanted buffet . Whatever the restaurantwas trying to do please get it together. I called the hotel n spoke to the manager Pauline very nice lady . She apologized and took care of the situation. Other than that my family enjoy their stay here . Thanks to Pauline .

This is my third trip to Harare and I’ve stayed at several hotels and this is hands down THE BEST in price, cleanliness, amenities, food and SUPERIOR service! I’d like to give Special Thanks to Prince, Immaculate and Nathan for their outstanding customer service. These are people that really made my stay memorable and went the extra mile. However I can honestly say that EVERY staff member from the drivers, to security, to the housekeepers, to the food servers, bartenders and front desk agents - the staff is truly amazing. The rooms are clean and modern, the restaurant ambience is beautiful and serve great meals, especially breakfast and buffets. Generally, the property is very well designed and maintained. Staff were very friendly, didn't meet any who didn't politely greet me with a smile. One Nathan, a staff at the restaurant was outstanding. Very talkative and friendly and engaged us on various meal options. Such a nice chap. Overall, you won't go wrong choosing Cresta Oasis.

It's a real budget hotel. They are busy upgrading and extending, so it was really noisy with construction work. Meeting rooms need attention. The staff made up for it by being the friendliest I have come across.

Reasonable hotel close to the city
This is an old hotel which is going to be renovated next year which is good as the bathrooms very much need attention. The staff are very friendly and helpful and it's handy for the city.The restaurant is a bit overpriced for the buffet, the food was ok but not hot, and items not all available on the a la carte menu. But a reasonably good option pricewise in Harare to stay in.

Convenient to airport and city centre.
I like that coming from a long journey, we did not have to take another long one to the hotel. We got there fast and could rest sooner. The staff was very helpful in getting us booked and checked in. They helped take our bags to the room and offered some fruits :)

Stayed there on the 5th of November; was received by a very friendly and was reception; discovered air-conditioning was not working reported as I was going out came back a few hours to be told there was no house keeping to repair it but would see what they can do. With temperatures boiling hot could hardly sleep; mosquitoes had a field day on us the bed was unstable and squeaky; he room was dusty and stuffy; left in a hurry in the morning to attend some urgent matter my wife forgot her dress which contained $40 we realised when we got to where we were going ; they said they had seem the dress and was being kept safe to collect ; on our arrival to collect found our money missing and the reception where not even apologetic ; I would never recommend anyone to stay at this hotel as the standards have greatly deteriorated. Disgruntled and Robbed

Central location, ideal for business
The room is very clean, the bed comfortable and has good lighting. It may not follow a trendy design scheme, but everything is working. There is a spacious desk with multiple sockets for business travelers. WiFi works very well throughout the hotel. Breakfast buffet was nice.

We enjoyed our meals and found the restaurant staff friendly and helpfulness appreciated the easy access for cars and the parking facilities However the music was too loud and kept us all awake

Slightly worn
Many facilities, whilst OK, were worn and in need of refurbishment. Bedside cabinets held on with one screw, light fittings removed, a shower curtain rather than a proper shower door. The area is also dilapidated with footpaths having been dug up and not relaid, often no footpath. The hotel staff was very good, responding to issues very quickly (replacing light bulbs, connecting internet). For foreign travellers it is cheaper to get the hotel airport transfer than a taxi (USD 15 versus USD 30). None of the taxis seem to have working meters and everywhere in town cost USD 15.

This is a good hotel. $100 and less per night should get one a decent place to stay in this region where high price frequently does not equate with quality of service/value for money. Friendly professional service; clean rooms with all the necessary facilities; walking distance to CBD). Indication of gym is misleading -it is short taxi drive away (gym access is free for hotel residents; small but functional).

OASIS STAY
The hotel was centrally located as advertised. The rooms were clean. Service was overall alright. However, the guy in the restaurant who makes the eggs and omelettes really needs more training as he does not seem to know what sunny side up or over easy means. His omelettes were not that great either although he had all the ingredients at hand. The rest of the buffet breakfast was very nice.
