"Very nice quaint yet modern hotel. The ‘free’ meal was ok - we had it once and dined out the other 2 nights. Location nice, accessibility very good, gym, breakfast etc all very good. Would book again for sure. "

"Great views and location, with a few trade-offs
We enjoyed our stay in this spacious penthouse apartment. The rooftop balcony offers a fantastic view, and the location is ideal—just a short walk to shops, restaurants, and major tourist attractions. The in-unit washer and dryer were a big plus, and the host was very responsive throughout our stay.
There are a few things to note: the apartment is on the 4th floor with no lift, so be prepared for stairs especially if you have luggage. The TV...

"Our room was spacious, comfortable and with a view over the harbour and city, especially magical in the evening. Staff were very helpful at all times. Breakfast was superb with a range of delicious, healthy choices. The location is superb, directly opposite the Tourist Visitor centre and easy walking to many places of interest. Loved it!"
"Enjoyed my 3 night stay. Area very quiet at night, even facing the front street. Good provision of gluten free cereal/crispbread/ & bread, although over defrosted. Lactose free milks. Choices of drinks, eggs, meats, cheese all placed open for selection . Staff helpful, I borrowed a kettle, as these not routinely provided. Bed comfy, bathroom clean and tap providing drinking water. TV, but only a few Norwegian channels, nothing available in English, but didn't matter. Overall, a fuss free easy going place to stay. Great location, 8-10 walk from bus stop off at Torget, on at Strandkaien. 👍"
"This place was amazing! Whatever my nightly rate was, it wasn’t enough! Great big breakfast spread in the morning, Fika late afternoon, then a “light dinner”. Don’t be fooled, the light dinner was a nice spread of breads, salads, a soup, and a main course! Everything was very delicious. The room was well appointed with everything we could think of, and we had a great view looking out into the harbor and Bryggen. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel and the front desk staff was incredibly awesome "
