Staff were extremely helpful and professional. Room and staff throughout the hotel were amazing. Great breakfast spread with a view Great rooftop bar to have a drink after a long day of exploring. Walking distance to everything in old quarter location made this stay one to remember and will definitely be back again

The staff are amazing, so helpful and happy. Ms Cindy & Mr Ding attended to our every need. We are so grateful that they made our honeymoon a memorable trip.The room was well laid out and comfortable.

This hotel was in a great location as it was right in the middle of the hustle and bustle and within easy walking distance of everything. Only downside of that of course is it is very noisy. Staff were phenomenal and couldnt do enough for us. Breakfast had a great selection. The rooms were nice and spacious and well accommodated our family of four. Would definitely recommend staying here...just bring ear plugs though if you are a light sleeper.

Great hotel in a wonderful location close to Lake Kiem and able to walk easily around the old town or book a grab if going further. Delicious breakfast and super kind and friendly staff. A great first experience in Hanoi - that I would book again when I return

We had an excellent stay here. The location was brilliant and the staff were very kind and helpful. A great breakfast. We also enjoyed using the pool. the spa & having a drink at the Sky Bar. The air conditioning was fantastic and much needed!

Staff are very friendly and helpful to ensure you have a pleasant stay. May, who worked on the front desk, even texted to check our onward journey was going well. Lovely hotel, lovely breakfast, comfortable stay. Great location. Recommend booking cruises through them rather than before arriving in the country.

Really nice and helpful staff that did everything to make us welcome and to ensure a nice stay. Great location to walk to the lake, French and Old Quarters. The room layout was great for us with 2 kids (interconnecting family room). We were delighted that the kids room had no windows so it was really dark for sleeping. Food was decent and the views from the rooftop bar at night were really nice. The pool area let the property down. It is small so gets busy with just a handful of people. That would be ok if it was maintained well. We wore water shoes each time out as there are lots of broken tiles.

This hotel offered 5 star service from the beginning til end. Super convenient location which was great and the breakfast served was delicious. The rooms were just decent, nothing special but the food, service, and location makes up for it. The staff was contstantly smiling and extremely helpful. Would definitely come back here.

I had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel. The hotel is beautiful, modern, and very well maintained. The room was comfortable, the bed was soft and cozy, which made my stay very relaxing. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of choices every day. The swimming pool was clean and beautiful, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The sky bar with its amazing city view and a nice drink was definitely one of the best experiences during my stay. The hotel also helped me book tour packages to Ninh Binh, Ha Long, Ha Giang, and other destinations at very good prices. I truly enjoyed those tours and appreciated the excellent support from the hotel team. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.

We had a quadruple family room and it was extremely small, one room couldn’t fit any bed side tables and it was a struggle to open suitcases comfortably. The pool area was extremely slippery, within an hour of being at the pool my son and another boy had slipped over hurting themselves- we didn’t go back as the floor was continuously filled with water which wasn’t being maintained. The breakfast was not kept stocked up, we had to ask for basics such as bread and drinks on more than one occasion. On a positive note, the staff are polite and friendly.

I had a wonderful stay at Splendid Secret Hotel. The location is perfect — right in the Old Quarter, very close to everything but still quiet at night. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Ding Dong is always smiling and ready to assist with anything I needed. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with both local and Western options. Overall, it was a great experience and excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend Splendid Secret Hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi!

Everything was top-notch. • Room Service & Cleanliness: The room was spotless, super comfortable, and felt like a true retreat. • Breakfast: The buffet was excellent—huge variety, delicious food, and a great start to the day. • Staff & Tour Planning: The staff team was wonderful, especially Ding Dong! Ding Dong was incredibly helpful, professional, and went above and beyond to assist me. • Ha Long Bay Tour: I booked the Ha Long tour through the hotel, and thanks to Ding Dong's seamless organization, the whole trip was smooth and unforgettable.
