The room was very clean and the staff is very friendly. It’s also very quiet, which is very important to me because I’m a light sleeper. It’s also very central and is really easy to take a grab. I highly recommend this hotel and their services!! Thanks, David for the surprising upgrade. :)

I booked a private room and honestly for the price it was great! The location is PERFECT. The staff are unbelievably lovely and helpful (I booked the Ha Long Bay cruise through them). Would definitely recommend.

Great hotel, great location, great staff

Luxury backpacker hotel was a great place for me and my girlfriend to stay. The host Linh was very helpful and kind, she upgraded our room for free and even helped us book a discounted tour for the Ha Giang loop. She gave us great recommendations for things to do on different days and meals to try. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone!

Fantastic stay

I had a great stay at Luxury Backpackers, Linh and the rest of the staff are so kind and helpful with anything you need. The facilities and beds are great, and it is in a great central location. I would highly reccomend.

The staff was very helpful, arranging my tours, bus tickets, laundry and helping me extend my stay. Beds were comfortable with a nice privacy curtain, hooks, fans, cubbies which made the place feel like home for the days I spent there.

The place was really cozy. It was really affordable and the manager who assisted us was very accommodating. He even allowed us to do an early check-in and gave us discount for a room upgrade. The hotel is also very near to good restaurants and coffee shop so I am really happy with my visit in Hanoi. Thank you so much for taking care of us!

This was a good place to stay. They did a good job of communicating with me via the app and arranged for a driver to meet me at the airport. A staff member helpfully carried my bag for me up to the 5th floor. The room was as advertised, comfortable & clean. The options for eating near by were overwhelming and sights were walkable. They were quick to offer any help in booking travel services & stored my bag for a bit after check out.

It's a pleasant stay. I was there for 3 nights. The staff were able to provide timely support and assistance. They were really helpful and friendly. The location is quite near to the old town and the lake. The room was in general clean. There's little room for improvement in the cleanliness of the bathrooms, but just a little. There's slight odour.

My time in Hanoi was facilitated with joy, comfort and ease by staying with Luxury Backpackers. Upon arrival, I was welcomed warmly and provided options of excursions with honest advice about the most popular and the one with the best value for money. I was recommended delicious local cuisine. My room was clean (and cleaned daily) and equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect as I was a walkable distance to many Hanoi hot spots. The guiding light to my enjoyable time in Hanoi at Luxury Backpackers was Linh. From first meeting, she was friendly, genuine, and joyful presence that I could trust. This is needed and so refreshing as a solo traveler. I was able to leave Hanoi having a fabulous time and a new found friend. Get the best value for this place! Book it!

Please be aware, at the time of this writing (23/09/2023) that there is no lift so going to your room requires traversing up and down the staircase :(. However, putting that aside, this hotel is located in Old Quarter, surrounded with many dining options nearby. It is also located near a cathedral. The receptionist, Linh, is fantastic. She provided great suggestion and tips about Hanoi culture, things to do, places to eat. She ensured that the guests are welcome.

Bathroom is much nicer than individual rooms

I am in a 8 months trip, normally i have my own room, but most of them don't have clean and nice bathroom, i give a try share room that i don't like, this bathroom is very clean and modern, much better than all my bathrooms, share areas also very clean, cost much less than my own room, i have locker that i always worry about, only problem share a room but not as lonely. I start booking share room after 6 months trip
