Got message from hotel that they had water issue and so they put me up in one of their other hotels. A long way from where I originally wanted to be. Beds in the other hotel were hard as rock. I wanted to stay at this place because people reviewed said it had comfortable beds. Very unhappy about whole thing

Need more mentenance

I booked single room but when I got there, it wasn't available. That was ok, gave me a Family room. That was run down not clean room. The windows not shut. But the bed was comfortable.

She said it was my job.

I had to pull frigerator out and plug it in and the tv. She said that was my job. When i left the key at the front desk where i layed it is where it stayed while i was gone. Anyone could have pick it up and went into the room. At time there was no one at the front desk.

Udmærket Hotel. Lobbyen var en smule beskidt, men værelset var fint og rent. Vi oplevede dog strømafbrydelser et par gange, og wifi-forbindelsen var ikke specielt god. Et fint sted til en enkelt eller to overnatninger.

Lucy at the front desk was very helpful and spoke English quite well. The room was clean other then a few stains on the bed sheets. It was hard to find when you first arrive but it is in a good area for walking around the city. The bed was comfortable and there was a view out the window. We stayed on the fifth floor, no elevator so it’s a hike up, but it was a nice room overall. We would stay here again.

Nice stay, off the beaten path

Had a great experience here the last few days. Staff was very accommodating and rooms and bathroom were clean. Lucy was very helpful withhelping to organize trips for us and arranging transportation. We would definitely stay here again. Down an alley so don’t be confused but nice that it takes you away from the street traffic.

Greit hotell i hjertet av gamlebyen

Greit hotell for prisen i hjertet av gamlebyen. Vi sov her to netter og var rimelig fornøyde med beliggenheten og personalet på hotellet. De hjalp oss med aøt fra cruise i Ha Long Bay til togbilletter til Sapa. Ulempen var alt bråket utenfor vinduet vårt da noen startet å borre hver natt kl 02. I tillegg var veggene utrolig tynne på vårt rom, så vi hørte alt naboene våre gjorde.

Not bad at all for the price

Good one night stay! What can you expect paying £12 for two. We were on the 5th floor (at the top), so that was a workout to go up and down everytime. Room was small and with our room (502), you actually enter the bathroom first. Bathroom had no amenities, so bring your own soap and shampoo. The room only has a kettle, mini fridge and TV (and of course a bed with sheets). Breakfast was basic, but good it's included. What was great was the location, so close to the lake. The staff were very friendly and helped to arrange bus tickets for our onward journeys!

Greta afforable choice!

It was a small, but very clean and efficiently set-up room. Very good AC and wifi, and overall, great for the price! They gave us a room on the fifth floor, with lots of light. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. And the neighborhood is cute--hidden off a back alley, you walk past local fresh fruit & meat & fish vendors that you don't see on the main streets of the old quarter. A great, affordable choice!

The rates were good facilities were new and very comfortable. However, it was extremely confusing to find and the staff was extremely inhospitable. If you value customer service over the condition of the room, I would not recommend. I will not come back.

Nice place near the local attraction

Nice hotel. Friendly staffs, they recommended me to go to nearby attraction. Very close with Hoan Kiem Lake which is a nice place to spend an evening. They provided a tour and also private car to take you to the airport. At that time, charge me 300K local currency.
