The hoter is right in the old quarter were we wanted to be. There are limited facilities but the breakfast is satisfactory. What stood out w as how accommodating the staff were. From when we stepped through the front door until we left nothing was beyond them. Thank you for a wonderful stay
Great location. Easy walk to do many interesting things in Old Hanoi. Nice breakfast buffet or made to order.
The staff is fantastic. So friendly and helpful. We left some luggage when we went on a tour, when we came back they had it in our new room. They will arrange anything you need. Great English.
Thanks so much!
My daughter and I loved this hotel. It was walking distance to the lake, shops, and sights. It was well maintained for an older city hotel. But the real benefit was the service and recommendations of the staff. Jessie is the manager and she sat down with us the first day and gave us recommendations for so many places to go and see. They made arrangements for a street food tour, a spa, and any other travel needs. The other staff, Gin, Eddie, and Leo all helped with directions and encouragement. There was a full breakfast included. Our room was quiet despite being on a busy street. Highly recommend for a Vietnam city experience.
Awesome stay. The staff here are great and go out of their way for everything. Breakfast is also very good. I had booked the junior suite which was very spacious and comfortable. The staff takes great pain in explaining u each and every detail and also gives u a list of places to eat and a map. Great stay
The rooms were a little tired, but the bedding, towels and bathroom were all clean. The lobby and breakfast room were basic but the staff more than made up for it. Both mangers were incredibly helpful, particularly the gentleman whose name escapes me. He made a great effort to greet us by our names each time he saw us, not only impressive but a nice personal touch. We left the hotel to join a cruise in Halong Bay and asked if we could return to the hotel so they could book a taxi for us to the airport when we arrived back in Hanoi. Staff were more than happy to do this and remembered us as soon as we arrived back at the hotel two days later. They even offered us use of their shower facilities before leaving.
The hotel was in a great location as it was within walking distance to the major attractions. Being just on the outskirts of the Old Quarter it was close to the atmosphere without being loud and busy. I was a little concerned about the noice coming from the main road just outside, but we couldn't hear a thing from our room which faced the other direction.
Overall, I would say this hotel was great value for money.
All the staff is super friendly and genuinely helpful. Especially front desk, you guys are doing great. The room was really nice and always clean. Breakfast station a bit small but food was perfectly amazing. I believe the hotel location is great, close to everything by 10 mins walk. This hotel it will be my first option for staying next visit Hanoi next time.
This was such a lovely hotel. We felt very welcomed from the moment we arrived and the staff took excellent care of us, and gave us so much help amd advice, even running out to make sure the taxi wasn't over charging us! The rooms were smart and the menu at breakfast was extensive. We even got a little present when we sadly said farewell. Location was great, with a 10 minute walk to the lake and the old quarter on your doorstep. Overall a very nice stay and a huge thank you to the wonderful, caring staff.
Love this gem of a hotel in the Old Quarter! Stayed 3 nights in total.
Cosy, small hotel (28 rooms only) smacked in the heart of Hanoi's old quarter on the *Coffee Street!
Perfect location to explore the arts and heritage scene... Hoan Kiem Lake, Temple of Literature, Fine Art Museum etc all within easy reach.
Wonderful staff always enthusiastic and helpful, to help make your stay a great experience. Manager, Ms Janice and Front-desk, Ms Jasmine are both always cheerful, resourceful and super effective!
Good breakfast, love the room's interior too!
Will definitely stay here again!
Very good location in the old town district area. During check-in, we were upgraded to the next level suite as told by the reception that the room is available and given on complimentary. Staffs were very attentive and friendly. Breakfast room was small but they have everything you need and we were quite happy. When we checked out, we were presented with a souvenir bag containing Vietnamese coffee and filter for us to take home from the hotel by Janice. Very impressive! Money well spent staying at Hanoi Era hotel! :)
The hotel is very well located in the old quarter, the rooms were very clean. The staff was superb they take care of you so much many thanks. I definitely recommend this hotel it is a great value.
This was our second stay (in a two week period) at this property which speaks volumes. I have never stayed at friendlier or more helpful hotel. The warmth of the staff was humbling.
