Great Location The owner was welcoming
and attentive the front desk person Lin was
friendly and helpful. I would definely stay in this hotel again
Everything was great at the Hanoi Elpis. A nice big room, a very comfortable bed and a great balcony to sit and have coffee, before embarking upon the chaotic streets of the old quarter. I loved it!! The staff are ultra friendly especially Linh and will offer any advice you might need. If I do go back to Hanoi, I will definitely consider staying here again.

the location is near to old quarter, good to visit the hanoi local train street. however the property is in old quarter there is no lift, but the hotel guy can help you to carry your lugage into your room. Decent stay with value for money.
you will get hot water 24*7, water bottel, fresh towel, lundary service is available with reasonable cost, ATM is near to bulding, pick up drop availble near to hotel.
Friendly staff, clean room, central location in old quarter. Got upgrade from staff to the top floor which had a nice view (but be prepared as there is no elevator)!
Great spot for exploring Old Quarter. Nice rooms and helpful front desk staff. Be sure to try the small 'mom pop' restaurants in the area, there are some gems!

The hotel was easy to find despite being down a lane. It is a small family run hotel and the owner is lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful. We had a large room with two very comfortable double beds and enclosed balcony which was great given it rained the entire time. Clean towels and beds made daily and plenty of bottled water. Great location easily walk to everything. It is run down in places but that’s to be expected for the very good price. There is no lift and stairs are narrow but easy to get up and down and the owner so kindly helped with our very heavy luggage. We would happily stay again when we are in Hanoi again.
The owner was very friendly. It reminded of Midwest hospitality and the rooms were basic but clean! I really appreciated how the owner was always asking if anything was needed etc. Felt very welcoming and the location was especially for tours.
Very convenient. Close to bus stations, however, street not big enough to allow car/taxi for pickup. Plenty of dining options and not too crowd. Hotel also has SIM cards for sale and many tours to select from. Will book again next time visiting Ha Noi.

Lovely family run hotel in a great area. We made the mistake of booking the cheapest room through Expedia. It was tiny with no window for daylight and our “private” bathroom/ toilet was in the hallway outside of our room. Totally our fault but a terrible room. We did see in to the other rooms and they had daylight and looked very good.
I told the hotel manager in passing it was my wifes birthday. When we came back to our room in the evening thete was a beautful birthday cake in our room. Wow!! Very nice comfortable rooms. Excellent place.
Location was great in the old quarter, the manager was very helpful for any questions and services, bed was comfortable, spacious room and good bathroom.
Staff was nice but room not as described. Booked a double queen room and was switched to a queen, with twin plus a cot that was very very hard. With the extra bed there was no floor space as the room was tiny and very ran down with dirty curtains on rods held up by leaning against AC unit
And mold/mildew in corner. Also, salamander poo on covers that staff replaced. At least I assume/hope it was salamander poo since we saw them in the room on arrival. Stayed one night of our three nights only because we arrived after midnight. Found another hotel for remainder. I do give credit to hotel for refunding the rest of the booking.
