It’s in a great part of the city, a bit quieter than the centre. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room size was much smaller than it appears on the photos. There’s little in bathroom amenities even though the bathroom was a good size. The shower door was very noisy and difficult to slide. There was no space to put the jug except on the floor. Just a couple of little changes would make it a much more pleasant stay. Also had trouble with the aircon. The hotel does have its charm.
The dragon hotel is excellent value for money. For £36 you get a large room, with great WiFi, a very good hotel breakfast and in a stunning location in Hanoi Westlake. We had one of the rooms at the back, which made for a peaceful nights sleep in the busy city. Would highly recommend staying here for great value and a pleasant stay.
A fine old fashioned Asian hotel. Good service, helpful staff and English spoken. Good location with lake across the road. A little noisy in the early morning with cocks crowing and dogs barking.
Had a nice stay. Staff very friendly. They allowed early check in. Also rooms were very clean and well maintained. Very good Indian restaurant next to hotel which was very helpful.
Very kind staff. Good English spoken. Many Chinese(?) dragon arts! Amazing giant gold fish pond, and that at indoor. Great lake view! I found everything needed and more there even at moderate price. Dedicated service is what I found most touching. Good restaurants and cafes nearby. I recommend this hotel to those who are looking for exotics, comforts, and bit away from dense area. Lastly the area seems foreigner friendly yet not aggressively.
Moderate traditional with make to order breakfast.
There is no lift so be ready to walk up to 3-4 floors. The Aircon was very old which took almost 30 minutes to cool the room and due to the hotel structure the wifi coverage is not optimal hence weaker internet reception.

景色が綺麗なホテル
Ho tayのほとりにあるので、ホテルの部屋から見える景色はきれいです。受付のスタッフも笑顔で出迎えてくれて、とても気持ち良かったです。
The hotel staff were very polite and helpful. I have my room upgraded. The first night was bad as a lot
of banging sound like construction piling happening around 11pm to 1 am and I lost sleep! The second night was silent. The breakfast was not the buffet type and very simple.
The Suite we booked was excellent, and the deep bath was a welcome sight after 3 weeks in a rain forest. The staff were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. When we had been walking around trying to find a restaurant with little luck we sat down, dejected, in the lobby using the WiFi to check the maps again, the staff just came over with some herbal tea and put it down in front of us as they could see the frustration. They are just so accommodating.
