Overall this was a great basic hotel in a really convenient location. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, even with our very late arrival and early departure time. They helped coordinate our airport transfer and were extremely prompt and responsive in answering our questions. The breakfast buffet was a great perk. The rooms were in good condition, although it was (as expected) a bit humid inside. Overall this was a good option for our overnight stay.

The stuff are very friendly and helpful. Room are clean and comfortable. Only feedback is we have a family room for 4 and will be good to have 2 toilets instead of 1 will be ideal. The hotel location at Old Quarter is very convenient and is walking distance to popular lake and night market street. If you are aiming for true Vietnam experience is a great place to stay.

It's a 2 star hotel.

I picked this hotel for it's location and 24hr check in since we arrived at 2am. The room was old and had holes in the wall and water damaged floors. The bathroom was awful. You had to use the hand held shower to bathe. Water went everywhere since the bathroom was poorly put together. The wifi barely worked in the room. Very little amenities besides free breakfast and bottle water.

All the staff were amazingly nice and helpful, very fluent English and quick to approach and assist you. The breakfast buffet , though limited size, was one of the best breakfasts Iโ€™ve had in Asia, even compared to Hyatts and Marriottโ€™s because the chefs have a nice variety of menu creations/ cuisines, eggs made to order not left in a cold tray and some challenging items you donโ€™t normally see for a free Asia buffet (double baked potato is amazing). The hotel is five minute walk to the lake and night market. Bed was soft and pillows plentiful. Also have HBO and the movie channel thats not normal to find in many hotels/ Asian countries. Only disappoint, tried to eat dinner in restaurant Friday and Saturday but no one there eating and dining area was dark, seemed not ready for business so made other dinner plans. Hoped it would be similar experience as breakfast.

I had arranged to be picked up from the Airport, one of the reasons I booked this hotel was because of this service.They sent an excellent confirmation with precise detailsโ€ฆI waited over 40 minutes for a taxi which did not show up. After phoning the hotel (incurring additional phone expenses) they did arrange a transfer and after more complaining did not charge meโ€ฆbut I had wasted time and spent money phoning themโ€ฆgood location. Bar VERY loud, so impossible to go there for a quiet drink.

I highly recommend Bendecir Hotel and Spa. The staff demonstrated exceptional hospitality and provided effective customer service throughout my stay. The room was immaculately clean and spacious. It was equipped with toiletries and complimentary bottled water daily. Freshly prepared breakfast and fruits were provided daily, offering a diverse selection of Western, Asian, and Vietnamese options. The hotelโ€™s location is highly convenient, situated near shops, convenience stores, cafes, and restaurants. Additionally, the hotel features its own restaurant and bar within the block. The hotel is easily accessible to Hoan Kiem Lake and other popular tourist attractions.

Amazing stay in Hanoi Central

Lovely stay at Bendecir with my mom. The room faces a busy street, with awesome accessibility to the water puppet show and Ngoc Son temple. Great spacious room and nice sky roof breakfast in the mornings. The service by the team is excellent too.

Not a 4 star hotel, dated, and in need of repair.

This hotel is improperly advertised as a 4 star hotel. If I am being generous, I would give it a 3 star at most. Pros: the rooms are clean and large, and the location is great. Cons: the hotel is extremely dated, it is in need of significant repair, the bathroom had a lot of issues, and there was mold on the ceiling. The toilet seat was broken, you canโ€™t flush toilet paper in the toilet, the bathtub was not fixed to the wall, the shower curtain didnโ€™t fit the bath tub and was in need of change. Overall it was an ok stay but well overpriced for what is being offered. There are much better properties in Hanoi at a much more reasonable price.

This is our first trip to Hanoi, the hotel staffs were very friendly and helpful. Whenever we need any directions for recommendation, the staffs are most willing to help. We felt very homely in the hotel. Everyday we were met with warm smile from every staff be it we enter or leave the hotel. Breakfast was good and was served with personal preference. The staffs send us off with a warm smile as we left for airport. This is the hotel that I highly recommended, as we enjoyed our stay during our 6 days in Hanoi.
