"Set in a lovely location. Plenty of free parking. Room was fine,with a clean king bed and a decent bathroom. Breakfast was average -if you are veggie you can request veggie sausages. They definitely need a coffe machine -restaurant coffee not good and tea via water from an urn. Service was fine though. Evening meal was average but expensive -convenient though. Fish and chips OK,my veggie burger not brilliant,chicken dish average,steak pie was good but vegetables lukewarm. I’d recommend a stay here. It’s nowhere near bad as some reviews and I think it good value overall. For a good meal,go to Bayleaf in the village. Drinks also better value with a quick walk to Bollington."

"We were really happy with our stay given the price we paid. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Amenities great with pool, sauna, gym etc for extra £10. Good pub and pool tables. With a bit of a clean and decorate this place could be amazing. The ballroom was very glam and I loved the old leather sofas everywhere. Alton towers 20 minutes away."
