We felt the same for you as guests. Yes our home is behind a vacant lot from the road. We are about two short blocks from the beach. It’s a nice walk and only takes a couple minutes. Unless you are staying beachfront in Hanalei which is definitely a different caliber of home and price you do need to walk along the road to get to the beach. We are extremely happy that you felt our home was overall terrific and a very comfortable house. We hope that you come back and stay again in the very near future. Mike & Leila
