Wonderful
This property has three different units. We stayed in the cottage. It was awesome! We had a beautiful view of Hana Bay! The place was super clean and well stocked. The bed was so comfortable. We would definitely recommend this place to anybody who’s looking for a wonderful, relaxing stay in Paradise.

Comfy Cottage
This cottage surpassed our expectations. It is very cute, and well appointed. The kitchen is great for cooking, and has everything you need. It is quite private and quiet, being surrounded by nature, and well positioned from the main house. It is spacious and comfortable. There are a lot of spiders and huge spiderwebs outside, but none at all inside, thank goodness. We really enjoyed our stay, and highly recommend it.

What a great stay we had in Hana. Cottage was quiet, comfortable & had everything we needed. Location was excellent for accessing local farms (don’t miss out on all the fruits!) and gorgeous beaches. Can’t wait to return!

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Hana cottage, it is relatively close to what Hana has to offer. We would stay there again if we ever come back to Hana.

Host accidentally double booked and cancelled hours before our arrival
Booking issue: the host unfortunately double booked the property and canceled our stay hours before we arrived after we had landed and were already driving over. We were left with no other options for Hana at the same capacity, and had to pay 2x out of pocket for a large place nearby. We booked the property 2 days in advance and received a few confirmation emails which is why we were surprised about the cancellation. I'm sure if you get the property it's very nice (which is why we picked it), and to the host's credit, they were very apologetic and friendly so the main problem was the double booking and how the VRBO system left a bad experience. My advice is to message the host directly at least 5 days in advance and have them confirm it's available before booking

Great location and very comfortable
I don't know why more people don't stay in Hana a couple of nights. We were so glad to have such a cute and comfortable place to stay while doing all the things on this side of the island. We were able to explore Waianapanapa and the east side of Haleakala at our leisure instead of having to rush to make it back to the west/south side before dark. This darling cottage was a perfect home base for us to do that.

What a beautiful cottage in the quiet town of Hana! Comfy, clean, and a great home base for our explorations for the two days we were on the East Coast of the island. The washer and dryer were so helpful because we had stayed the first few days in Kihei and their laundry facilities were broken. The Hana cottage saved the day because we were running out of clean clothes to wear! Shower was super hot and great water pressure -- awesome! The sunrise was so lovely from the kitchen windows each morning and there was a banana tree in the driveway area with the cutest little bananas all over it... made me smile every time I saw it. :-) Very charming cottage in a great location. The town of Hana is super sleepy, so don't trust any of the times you see for restaurants or markets. The open and close as they please... Hawaiian time, as they say! LOL! We loved our meals at The Hana Ranch and the awesome Hana Farms restaurant just up the road. Both great options for delicious food nearby. Great trip!

Exactly as Advertised
We wanted a quiet and comfortable place to lay our heads in Hana for less than what the resort cost. That’s exactly what we got. I’d place this property in a category with only one other VRBO at which we’ve stayed in that it was at least as nice, possibly nicer, than it appears on the website. I’ve learned to expect more wear and tear than you see by scrolling through the pics, etc. That is not the case with this cottage. Everything was clean and in good repair. The outdoor shower and water hose make it convenient to rinse off on your way back from a hike or the beach. Those beaches are close by too, as are the food trucks, grocery stores and restaurants. Getting your vehicle in and out requires a bit of care and patience but it’s doable. There are a few fairly requirements the owners ask of you (I.e. remove your shoes, turn off the AC upon leaving, etc.) while staying and upon checkout. None of these bi-laws were outlandish or unreasonable for a rental home though. Staying over in Hana made our trip very enjoyable—so nice to get out to several of the sites ahead of the masses or after they’d passed on. We tend not to stay at the same place twice, but I could see us returning here again. I’ll definitely look for it if we plan to stay over in Hana any time soon.

The stay was definitely what we expected based off the pictures and reviews. Communication with property managers was easy and they answered quickly. Location was perfect being so close to all the hot spots in and around Hana from the beaches, hikes, waterfalls, and local stores. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with what you need for a stay in Hana. Nothing negative to say at all.

Very Nice in Hana!
A very nicely equipped detached cottage with water views. We wanted to stay in Hana to have enough time to see the sites on the north shore & really enjoyed this place. A perfect size for a couple with nice kitchen, very comfortable bed, nicely finished bathroom & a covered deck with views of the bay. We stayed two nights & could have used a third. We would definitely stay here on our next Hana visit.

Charming cottage
We really enjoyed our stay at this charming cottage. It is clean, nicely decorated and well-equipped. The many windows let in lots of light and fresh air, and there is even a view of Hana Bay. This was the nicest of three places we stayed on our trip, and we would definitely stay here again.

A great little place in Hana. Very clean and having laundry available was very helpful. The WiFi was good. If you are a mosquito magnet like me and are there in the winter/rainy season, make sure you wear insect repellent even getting in and out of the car; my spouse was fine!

This is a very cozy place within walking distance of everything you need in Hana. Highly recommend. Easy to check in. Very clean. Love sitting on the patio in the morning to have coffee and afternoon getting back from exploring.

Amazing!
Awesome property! Just as advertised but even more private as plants have grown over the deck area. Well equipped kitchen, great shower (inside and out) wonderful deck area, amazing views which was unexpected! Hana is an amazing area. This was great location to fully experience the spectacular beauty in the area. If you like nature, laid back atmosphere and astounding beauty .. this is a must! Quiet, beautiful, serene… and exceptional casual fiod! Highly recommend!

Great place for a quiet getaway in Hana!
My partner and I stayed for a couple of nights here during our honeymoon and it was perfect. We had everything we needed and the actual place was as described! You get a beautiful view of Hana Bay from the kitchen windows and the cottage is secluded enough from the other nearby properties to make it a little bit more intimate. Would definitely recommend staying here on a visit to Hana.

Perfect little place to stay in Hana. Although there’s a nice breeze, it was good sleeping to have the A/C in the bedroom. Loved both the indoor and outdoor shower and really appreciated washer/dryer since we’re in Hawaii for two weeks. The lanai was nice in the afternoons after our hikes. Clean and well stocked! Close walk to black sand beach and Fagans Cross. Mahalo!

What really drew me to this property over others was the photo of the bedroom with the air conditioner on the wall. Otherwise, it was your average, nice cottage located in a safe neighborhood.

Awesome little cottage for couple!
This property had exactly what we needed in our short time in Hana: it was clean, it had an air-conditioned optional bedroom, and it had great water-pressure in the shower! We ventured to Waiʻānapanapa state park and Pipiwai trail from here, and it was very manageable to get around this area from the cottage. Would definitely stay here again!

We’ll-equipped, comfortable, peaceful place for a Hana getaway
The cottage was a great, perfectly located base to explore the Hana region. Though we brought only breakfast fixings and otherwise used the kitchen to reheat leftovers and eat carry out dinners from the food trucks, it had the equipment to do some serious cooking if you wanted to. Between the plentiful ceiling fans and the s, we never needed the A/C, and though the cottage was just off the Hana Road, the evenings were quiet and peaceful. Apart from a glitch with the housekeeping that we fortunately were able to fix without too much trouble, the cottage was immaculate and quite comfortable, and Sarah — the on-site manager— was quickly responsive to our questions. We would happily stay there again on a return visit to Hana.

Great Cottage and Location
The Cottage was perfect for our 2 night stay while traveling on The Road To Hana. We were able to walk to the Food Trucks and The Ranch Restaurant. My husband loved the outdoor shower. The bed was King Sized and super comfortable. Very nice place to stay.

The location was great! The cottage was the perfect size for two! I wish the furniture could be more comfortable! The bed was the only place that felt comfortable, a few comfy chairs on the lanai would be nice, instead of a picnic table The bathroom was perfect and beautiful!

Great little house in Hana
We loved this property! It was very clean, comfortable and well-appointed. Communication with the property management was flawless and there were no surprises once we got to the property. Backing out of the driveway onto a main street was exciting! I would suggest trying to turn around in the driveway if no other guest are staying in the main house. We found that not much is open past about 5pm (especially on New Years Day), but otherwise loved the food truck presence and the restaurant at the hotel in town was very accommodating when nothing else was open. Loved the location to take our time and explore the nearby beaches/touristy spots. Overall a great stay!

Great Little Cottage
Charming, clean cottage. Nice hillside and ocean view. Even though not right near the ocean, I could hear the waves crashing while doing yoga on the lanai! A bit scary to me backing vehicle out but didn’t bother my husband. Hope to return in the future!
